Have you tried sharing emails and calendars with your partner? #LifeHack
Why Should You Consider Sharing Emails and Calendars with Your Partner?
Having shared emails and calendars with your partner can significantly improve organization and communication between you two. By being able to access each other’s schedules and important emails, you can avoid conflicts and ensure everyone is on the same page. It’s like having a teamwork tool to efficiently manage your lives together.
How Can Shared Emails and Calendars Benefit You?
- Stay organized and communicate better
- Avoid conflicts by seeing each other’s schedules
- Keep everyone in the loop
- Efficiently manage your lives together
We personally use shared emails for our Netflix and Uber accounts, but the real game-changer for us has been using it for flights. Trust us, it’s a highly recommended practice!
We have a google calendar that has everyone in separate colors: me, him, shared, each kid, meal plan.
We don’t share emails because I don’t even want to deal with my emails, let alone his emails. We add both to important reservations (flights, hotels, air bnb). We just share logins as required and save it on the device.
Anything outstanding and free for a husband with Android and a wife with Apple?
I find this really cute too, really nice idea
Shared calendar, sure, but why share email?
I share calendars and can confirm it is very helpful!
Emails? No, thank you.
“Pool guy” appointments on her calendar… hey we have no pool
On this same note, honestly a lot of “work” processes and habits (spreadsheets, password managers, notes in some calendar invites, etc) have helped me to stay organized in my personal life lol
Calendar, yes. Email? Lol, no.
If me and my partner have any social engagements then yeah, we stick them in a calendar that’s shared between the two of us. Cuts out the, “Are we free on date X? Oh, we doing that thing? Sorry, I forgot.”
