Why has there been a surge of support in Russia lately? 🇷🇺
In recent months, there has been a noticeable increase in support for the Russian government and its actions both domestically and internationally. This surge of support can be attributed to several key factors that have influenced public opinion in Russia. Let’s take a closer look at why there has been a surge of support in Russia lately:
##Historical perspective
– Russia’s long history of nationalist sentiment
– The legacy of the Soviet Union
– Russian pride in military achievements
##Current events
– Conflict in Ukraine and Crimea
– Western sanctions and criticism of Russia
– Military intervention in Syria
##Domestic policies
– Government crackdown on opposition
– Propaganda and control of media
– Economic hardships and patriotism
##International relations
– Alliance with China and other countries
– Opposition to NATO expansion
– Asserting Russia’s global influence
##Social media influence
– Spread of pro-government propaganda
– Censorship of dissenting voices
– Control of online narratives
##Personal perspectives
– Perception of Russia as a strong global player
– Opposition to Western dominance
– Nationalistic pride and identity
The combination of these factors has created a perfect storm of support for the Russian government and its policies. The surge of backing for Russia can be seen across various platforms, including social media, news outlets, and public opinion polls.
In recent years, the Russian government has made a concerted effort to shape the narrative and control the flow of information both domestically and internationally. The use of propaganda, censorship, and disinformation campaigns has been instrumental in garnering support for the government’s actions and policies.
Additionally, the perception of Russia as a strong and assertive global player has resonated with many Russians who feel a sense of nationalistic pride and identity. The government’s stance against Western dominance and opposition to NATO expansion has also struck a chord with those who view Russia as a counterbalance to Western influence.
Ultimately, the surge of support in Russia can be attributed to a complex interplay of historical, political, social, and personal factors that have converged to create a sense of unity and solidarity among the Russian population. Whether this support will be sustained in the long term remains to be seen, but for now, Russia’s government enjoys a significant level of backing both at home and abroad.
Many oil refineries was damaged. Rusbots attempting to distruct attention.
Trolls being put at work for propaganda. Ignore that.
Bribes, blackmail, and propaganda
Troll factory at work. Europe is reorganizing to get around the US Republican shills block to Ukraine aid so now Russia tries to raise the useful idiots to stop that.
Show them a picture of an intersection. Ask them how many traffic lights they see.
Most pro-russian comments are bots, also on instagram. You see people talking positively about Russia, and when you visit their profiles, they follow hundreds, only have a few followers, and haven’t posted a single picture on their profiles
They are all bots and trolls
Bots, trolls, or American conservatives (a hybrid of the two)
Simply a Russian propaganda push.
They’re bots and trolls mainly. If you check the accounts, they’re new accounts that spam the same things, have an “American” sounding name attached to them, but make obvious gramatical errors that demonstrate they’re Russians.
If you understand any Russian, you can easily spot certain ways of forming sentences and using certain phrases that sound odd in English, but make perfect sense in Russian.
Russian propaganda around the election.
MAGA conspiracies paint Putin in a good light. My wife’s grandparents think he’s fighting the deep state and trying to end child sex trafficking among other things. Hardcore Q Trumpers
There are 100000s of bots created by 1000s of troll programmers in facility outside Moskow
“I’m sorry I do not know how to respond to this prompt.”
Because Democrats want to preserve democracy and MAGA republicans supports dictatorships.
Bots and Trump voters.
Bots and Russian trolls. Russia is well known for having a huge propaganda machine.
Propaganda. If you want them to reveal themselves, challenge them. Say something along the lines of:
“You can’t possibly think that is true. America didn’t even flex and the Moscow sissy couldn’t beat a ragtag bunch of Ukrainian farmers for two years. Imagine how quickly he be gone if the Russian sow had to face real soldiers.”
Even if they’re just willing dupes, pondering that reality wigs them out.
It’s propaganda to try and convince the West Ukrane is a lost cause. There is no real support, just cheap media.
Republicans have oddly sided more with Russia than ever before. I believe the Pro Russian propaganda they’ve been pushing has worked on the conservatives in America which is super odd because their hero used to be Reagan and they used to view Russia as an enemy.
It’s bizarre to me that conservatives would embrace a dictator like Putin but then again, they do seem to be trending toward authoritarianism with Trump. It’s a dangerous time in America for politics with one party being so unhealthy and fractured with a leader who is is conman
When you’re winning a war you don’t need to try so hard to tell everyone you’re winning. So when you’re losing and don’t have successful results to show, you distract, distract, distract, lie. Bots and shills are cheaper than successful military campaigns.
It’s an election year so Russia is pumping up the bots.
Propaganda machine at work
Tucker Carlson interview maybe?
We are in the middle of an information war.
Some bots, some idiots (especially from India if you look outside videos aimed at American viewers, here many of us have boners for strong authoritarian leaders and a general tendency to oppose anything the West supports because of British rule and the fact that Soviets were our allies during the Cold War), and some paid trolls.
As others have said, clear and coordinated efforts from bad actors who want you to think one way (and they seemed to have succeeded in some capacity)
It’s the shocking development of MAGA-ism… there’s been a big political shift in the conversation to “leftist vs anti-woke” instead of ye olde capitalism vs communism. So the conservatives in this country find themselves on the same side as Putin
Gaza conflict is indoctrinating many people into the far left and far right. Both of these end up in supporting russia
They had an election this past week, so I’d say a lot of it was propaganda.
Because Republicans love Putin almost as much as they love the Orange One.
