In fact, recent reports show that prices have increased by 14% in just the past two months. It’s no wonder why consumers are feeling the squeeze, and it’s time to fight back.
Corporations are still squeezing consumers hard, but there are ways to combat these rising prices. One solution is to explore your local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) options. Not only can CSAs provide fresh, locally grown produce, but they can also help you save money in the long run.
##The Impact of Rising Prices
The recent 14% price increase has had a significant impact on consumers. Here are some ways that rising prices are affecting people:
– Increased cost of groceries

The struggle is real, and it’s time to take action.
##Fighting for Raises
In the face of rising prices, it’s important to fight for your raises. Many employees have not seen an increase in their wages that align with the rising cost of living. It’s crucial to advocate for fair compensation that reflects the economic realities of today.
Here are some tips for fighting for your raises:
1. Research industry standards for your position
2. Compile a list of your accomplishments and contributions to the company
3. Schedule a meeting with your supervisor to discuss your compensation
Remember, you deserve to be fairly compensated for your work.
##Exploring Local CSA Options
One way to combat rising prices is to explore your local CSA options. CSA programs allow consumers to purchase directly from local farmers, providing a variety of fresh produce in return.
Here are some benefits of joining a local CSA:
– Access to fresh, locally grown produce
– Opportunity to support local farmers
– Potential cost savings compared to grocery store prices
By participating in a CSA, you can take control of your food budget while supporting your local community.

Itās gotta be total coincidence but QSR is up 16% in the last three months.
In all honestly if I owned a business and found out I could charge a ton more then I was and my sales wouldn’t fall off at all I’d do it. No one needs BK but if people are willing to pay those prices why wouldn’t they continue to raise them until they find the cut off point that will lose customers?
Itās a god deal though. For $18 you could never make this many calories at home
Why the fuck are they charging 2 different prices for the same bundle?
Those family bundles used to be like 4 whoppers, 4 large fries, 4 sodas, 4 chicken nuggets, 4 cheeseburgers, 4pies/cookies, etc etc for $9.99. or something crazy cheap like that lol
The only way to force down prices is to stop going somewhere. Shop generic, shop at Aldi if you have one. There’s nothing else that can be done, sadly. This is another case of it. Stop going and make them drop the price.
Or, at least, that’s how the pro capitalism people would like you to think. We’ve seen most recently it doesn’t work like that at all, apparently.
Lucky you because that same bundle is like 24 dollars where I love.
Better yet, donāt put this poison into your body.
Don’t buy BK, that’s it. It’s not a necessity
Deleted my app 3 months ago. This shit is expensive and will kill u. Cant mess with it. Id be ok with cheap and kills you but not both
Fast food is testing the upper limits of their customers. For some reason fast food places are still very busy and people are still buying. The food is garbage and people are paying sit down restaurant prices. Yes, the fast food companies are price gouging but what about the consumer buying it? Let’s get more fast food places to close and go under by simply not eating there.
Damn. I used to get good deals off of the coupons for BK too. Now it’s spiked completely out of control.
These bundles were 13.99 not even a year ago
20 bucks for 6 burgers and 3 fries? thats a banger deal
Nah, just stop eating out. The fast food industry is raising its prices to sit down restraunt rates. McDonald’s McDouble costs $3 now, and it’s a third of the quantity of food that a sit-down retraunt would provide. The ‘fast’ service is also disappearing. I waited for 30 minutes in a Wendy’s drive through last month with only 4 cars in front of me…..
This is one Big Mac combo in Canada
Fast food is ridiculous these days, for the most part. The one good thing about it — that it was cheap — usually no longer applies. Also, many places are jacking up their menu prices and forcing you to “use the app” to get better deals. On the few times I get fast food, I do that because it is a much better deal (usually the “two for the price of one” deals or something similar), but I feel dirty because it’s really fucked up that they force this on people (what about those who don’t have smartphones? They deserve to pay a lot more?)
Seriously, except for the expectation of a tip, fast food isn’t **that** much cheaper than a sit-down mean at a diner type place, anyway. And where I live (on the Oregon coast), the prices in this picture are downright low. It’s all a big ripoff here, I think because of the “tourist tax”. Using the local McD’s as an example, $6.49 for a Big Mac? $3.99 for a McDouble? Fuck no. These places are using “wage inflation” as an excuse to jack up prices far beyond what the added labor costs are contributing to the price increases. But hey, that does two things for them: (a) jacks up profits and (b) allows them to spin a narrative blaming higher wages for all the increases.
In 2020-2021 the BK family bundle was $8.99. since then they just keep jacking it up.
The company I work for decided that my raise was super good (equaling about $100 extra on my check before taxes per month. I then informed them that my rent alone for 2024 would be going up minimum $600 per month if I stay with the same place. They didnt even bat en eye, as with every corporation, I am only a number to them
Burger King has no right charging that much for the food the offer, all that should be no more than 5$ and Iām being generous.
