#StartupRevenue #MonetizationStrategy #SubscriptionModel #VideoChatApp #AnimeFans
Hey everyone! 👋 I wanted to kickstart a discussion on revenue models for startups. Specifically, I’m curious about your thoughts on the sustainability of our current revenue model at Senpai.
Here’s a little background:
– Senpai is an app for anime fans 🎮
– We recently pivoted to anonymous video chat using 3D anime-styled avatars 🤖
– We’re offering unlimited video calls and access to premium avatar skins for a subscription fee of $19.99/month 💰
Now, my question is: How sound do you think our revenue model is? Do you have any suggestions or tweaks that could potentially benefit us in the long run?
Let’s brainstorm together and see if we can come up with some innovative solutions! 🧠💡
Feel free to check out our pitch deck for more details and drop your ideas in the comments below. Let’s help each other out! 🚀
[Note: Example solution – Consider adding a freemium model with limited features to attract more users and potentially increase conversions to paid subscriptions.]
Thats a pretty cool dating app. The apple store is a “free market” so I don’t get their decision of denying you becaue the ” experience was too close” to existing apps. Tinder, Bumble, Hinge are close experiences… so are the other dating apps. Anyway, I love it. The hardest thing was dating apps is getting people in the same location fast!
If this idea works, I will both be happy for you and disappointed in humanity.
I don’t know any GenZ that watch anime in the western world, so I think the numbers here smell like bs, I just don’t think the market for anime is as high as you claim unless it’s in Japan or maybe South Korea
What’s the long term value proposition? Someone who likes Anime dates someone else who likes Anime.. doesn’t make sense, you can use a normal dating app and just put down you like Anime. This app feels redundant.
People grow up, people’s interests change, that’s why I think there’s an inherent flaw in your business model. $19.99 is steep for something very niche.
