Flight attendant!
State department, especially the Foreign Service
I would personally just go travel and pick up work where you go. Traveling for work is way over rated
Hi OP!
I’ve been working remotely since COVID started, and I’ve traveled extensively. If you have nothing holding you back, IE. Significant others, children, etc. I recommend working remotely from somewhere close, maybe Mexico; grow your experiences, and you can go further. I’ve worked CST for the last four years and have traveled and worked remotely in South America, Europe, Asia, and every region of the US. I’ll admit that some time zones aren’t great, but the experience much outweighs the inconvenience.
If I were you, I would save money, let your lease expire, sell and store your stuff, and go for it!
Flight attendant or language teacher allows you to travel quite frequently
If you qualify as a teacher and get s little experience at home first you can look for international school jobs. Usually 2 year contracts so you could move around countries every couple years if you like. Unfortunately though you need to be a qualified teacher and usually have a masters for some countries these days, not sure about everywhere but that’s at least the case in Korea where I work, super competitive field.
apply to Education Fund. Its a sales role that lets you travel internationally at least 4 times a year
Your best bet is finding a remote role at a company that allows you to work from anywhere in the world without too many restrictions. Unless of course you’re interested in becoming a flight attendant. There are quite a lot of people in their 20s who wish to do the same. Maybe keep an eye out of people who’ve successfully done this via GradSimple (newsletter)? Every week, you get to see interviews of college grads talk about their job search experience out of school, their current job, and how they like it. They tend to talk about their major, how they got to where they are, and what they wish for the future. There are many potential paths like freelancing, starting your own side thing, or pursuing remote opportunities. Could be a solid starting point since you’re feeling stuck career wise and don’t know what path to follow.
