Hey everyone, 🚗💭
Does anyone else find themselves sitting in their vehicle before work, contemplating whether they should just say “screw it” and go home? It’s a tough feeling to shake off sometimes, but you’re not alone.
Here are a few tips that might help you combat those feelings and start your day on a more positive note:
– Try listening to your favorite music or podcast to lift your mood before heading into work 🎶
– Take a few deep breaths and remind yourself of the reasons you decided to show up today 💪
– Reach out to a trusted co-worker or friend for a quick chat or pep talk to help shift your mindset 🤝
Remember, it’s okay to have days where you feel unmotivated or overwhelmed. Just know that it’s temporary, and you have the power to turn things around. Hang in there, you’ve got this! 💼✨
Feel free to share your own tips or experiences in the comments below. Let’s support each other through those tough moments! 🌟
From time to time yes
I did.
Until it was.
The day you get that exhaust extension?
Sitting in my car now waiting until the last few minutes before the work day starts to go inside.
I drove all the way to work to finally realize that I truly hated it and wasn’t going to work there anymore. Never even got out of the car lol.
Every morning.
I’m a bit of a wuss so I leave it up to chance. I say to myself that if between leaving the car and making it to the office,
– I see a man with an eye patch I will quit and turn to a life of crime.
– A beautiful woman hands me a piece of cheese, I will devote my life to gambling.
– If a man built like he can kill me with only his pinky finger tells me to stop looking at him, I will smack him in the ass and see how that situation turns out.
If none of these things occur, I just walk depressingly into the office and slave away like the good little worker I am.
I tracked my blood pressure every day before. Spiked to 140 every time I got to the parking lot…
I’m doing it right now…
I’ve done that once, and never got out of my car. Just pulled into a parking spot, contemplated, backed up out of my spot, and left.
