Hey everyone! Have you ever been laid off by the same company not just once, but twice? πββοΈ Well, that’s exactly what happened to me. But guess what? I didn’t let that stop me from finding my perfect job at a competitor’s company! π
Here’s a quick rundown of my journey and some valuable insights I’ve gained along the way:
– Got laid off twice by the same company within a short span of time due to different reasons.
– Faced numerous rejections, ghosting, and recruiting scams during my job search.
– Eventually found a hidden job post at a competitor’s company through networking.
– Now working at my new job with a 50% higher salary and bonuses, feeling more confident than ever before.
My advice to all of you going through a tough job search:
– Don’t lose hope, keep pushing forward no matter how many rejections you face.
– Network with former colleagues and industry connections to discover hidden job opportunities.
– Consider switching industries to broaden your job search horizons.
– Stay positive and believe that your perfect role is out there waiting for you.

I donβt understand how people buy houses with this kind of market
What company is this?
i have been laid off and hired 6 times for the same large tech firm. They just
reached out to me today to hire me a 7th time.
Congrats to you. Crazy experiences….
Congratulations!!!π₯³ Could you elaborate on “nearly hidden job post”. What do you mean by that?
Glad you succeeded, kudos! π
It’s the cycle of life. If a company doesn’t appreciate your value, find one that does.
Not sure I understand why they would put that you can’t work for them again in the severance. They laid you off twice, no way you go back for round 3.
Love a story that ends well! Congrats, OP!
this is why im not going to apply to my old company even if they have roles open. they have a history of huge layoffs and overall I feel they are a dying company. If I go back I WILL be laid off again, so I wonβt even bother
Congratulations ππΎππ
