#JobFrustration #UnfairTreatment #QuittingJob
Hey everyone, have you ever felt like your needs aren’t being taken seriously at work? 🤔 Well, I’ve only been at my new job for four weeks and I’m already fed up. Here’s the deal:
– Promised max 25 hours, working 28 after training
– Told no Sundays, working 10-hour shifts every Sunday
– Constantly ignored by supervisor
So, I’ve made up my mind – I’m quitting and walking out tomorrow. I refuse to be taken advantage of for minimum wage!
But here’s the thing – if you’re in a similar situation, know that you have options. Don’t let anyone treat you unfairly in the workplace. Stand up for yourself and don’t settle for less than you deserve. Your time and effort are valuable, so don’t let anyone diminish that.
Have you ever dealt with a similar situation at work? How did you handle it? Let’s share some advice and support each other through these tough times. #YouDeserveBetter #StandUpForYourself 🌟
i’m in the same boat as you right now!! i’ve only been there a month and at hire i said i can’t do 8 hour shifts. they said that was okay. 2 weeks in they schedule me 8 hour shifts. i went to TWO DIFFERENT managers, mine & the people lead who does the scheduling. i talked to them and they said everything from now on will be good. my schedule was adjusted and my availability was too. not even a week later they began to schedule me 8 hours again. on top of this they tried numerous times to skip my breaks and schedule me days i said i can’t work at all. they also sent me to departments i’ve never been to before all by myself and basically said figure it out. i left 2 days ago and im not looking back.
Good on you looking out for yourself.
Hopefully you land a better job later.
I pay my gardener 25 bucks an hour wtf are getting paid 10 bucks an hour for?
$10 an hour an you are not going back? Wow you sure showed them!
On a serious note what career are you trying to get into?
It sounds like you’ve been dealing with a lot of frustration and feeling undervalued. It’s important to prioritize your needs and well-being, especially in a job where you’re not feeling respected or heard. Asking for what you were promised isn’t asking for too much-it’s basic fairness. And hey, at least now you have a clear reason to celebrate Labor Day early! Make sure you get that paycheck and move on to better things. You deserve it!
Power to you!!
