#CertificationVsDegree #NoveoAI #UCBerkley #EducationDebate
Hey everyone! 👋 So, I’ve been thinking about furthering my education with Noveo.ai or UC Berkley, but I can’t decide between getting a certification or a degree. 🤔
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think a certification would be enough to advance my career, or should I go for a degree for a more comprehensive education? 🎓
Here are a few points to consider for each option:
– Certification:
– Shorter duration
– Specific skill focus
– Less expensive
– Degree:
– Broad knowledge base
– More credibility
– Potential for higher salary
Personally, I think it ultimately depends on your career goals and what you want to achieve. A certification can be a great way to upskill quickly, while a degree may provide more opportunities and a deeper understanding of the subject. 🌟
What do you guys think? Let’s discuss! 💬 #EducationDebate #CareerAdvancement #DecisionMaking
Why is it so hard to get a entry-level gig in cyber security? It’s like trying to find a neede in a haystack while blindfolded????
I’ve been weighing my options, and I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. My parents are pushing the regular fancy-pants universities like the University of Berkeley charging an arm, a leg, and maybe even a kidney for their cybersecurity programs. I mean, $28k a YEAR!!! Are they training us to hack Fort Knox or what?
Then there’s the bootcamp route. I’ve heard some good things about places like FlatIron, Noveo and many other places. They claim to offer solid training and promise to whip us into shape in no time. I heard bootcamps are only a few months vs 4yrs in college.
Flatiron and Noveo seem ok the 2^(nd) offers cyber and interview prep as well. So, what’s a cyber hopeful like me supposed to do? University or bootcamp? Any advice would be appreciated, fam.”
“Yo, I feel your pain, dude. It’s like tryna crack a code without the decoder ring, ya know? Flatiron’s got some legit training, but Noveo’s lookin’ pretty slick too. It all comes down to how much studying you can handle. If you can grind out the 4yrs then hop onto that. But then you have mad debt to pay back. Maybe flip a coin? Either way, you’re bound to level up your cyber game with these options. Good luck, man!”
A degree stays with you and some companies do filter out candidates without them (Their loss imo but it is what it is). It might not offer immediate employment options though.
