So many interviews for nothing… 🤔 Has this ever happened to you? It can be frustrating to go through multiple rounds of interviews, only to receive a generic rejection email at the end. But fear not, there are ways to handle this situation and even turn it into a learning opportunity for future job interviews. Here are some possible solutions:
-
Seek feedback: Don’t be afraid to ask for feedback on why you weren’t chosen for the position. This can help you identify areas for improvement and tailor your approach in future interviews.
-
Evaluate the process: Reflect on the interview process and see if there were any red flags or areas where you could have performed better. Use this as a chance to refine your interview skills.
-
Stay positive: It’s easy to get disheartened after receiving a rejection, but remember that every interview is a learning experience. Stay positive and keep applying for other opportunities.
- Networking: Use this experience to expand your network. Connect with the interviewers on LinkedIn and thank them for the opportunity. You never know when another opportunity might arise through these connections.
Remember, each job interview is a stepping stone towards finding the right fit. Keep pushing forward and don’t let setbacks deter you from reaching your career goals. Have you ever experienced a similar situation? Share your thoughts and advice! 💼🌟
And? You passed all interviews except the last one with the C level. They make the final decision and decided against you. Is this your first time interviewing or something?
doing assessments is part of the problem, you look desperate for.them
This must be so frustrating!!! So sorry you had to go through this.
Had a recent interview myself similar to this. Thinking it all ‘went well’ only to learn the place wasn’t a great fit for me.
No matter how good a company may seem, it’s experiences like these where I adopt the mindset of “me interviewing the company” vs “them interviewing me”.
The fact this company couldn’t provide feedback when asked shows the type of environment you’d end up in. Keep on searching, there’s something better for you
You’re great! You’re perfect! You’re just what we need! We hired somebody else!
One of the most soul crushing outcomes of the job search. You feel totally misled.
Name and shame moment. You do not deserve this. When a company wants you, they do NOT bullshit about you.
post this on glassdoor. these companies think they can get away with this with no repercussions
Extremely disrespectful.
They have no problem wasting your time, but can’t be arsed to waste theirs.
Name and shame, please.
