As a boy, there are definitely a few things that I can’t stand. From awkward family interactions to embarrassing bodily functions, here are the top two things that I absolutely hate:
1. My family saying “ooo do you like her?” To me after I mention a girl I am just friends with.
We’ve all been there – you mention a girl’s name in passing, maybe talking about a group project or a new classmate, and suddenly your family members are jumping to conclusions. Here’s why this situation is so awkward and frustrating:
– It puts unnecessary pressure on you: You might genuinely just be friends with this girl, but now you feel like you have to defend yourself and explain why you don’t have romantic feelings for her. It’s an uncomfortable situation that could easily be avoided.
– It’s embarrassing: Having your family members tease you about your relationships (or lack thereof) can be really embarrassing, especially if the girl in question is just a friend. It can make you feel self-conscious and unsure of how to navigate the situation.
– It’s outdated: In today’s world, not every interaction between a boy and a girl has to be romantic. You can have friends of the opposite gender without it being a big deal. So when your family starts assuming things based on a simple mention of a name, it feels like they’re stuck in the past.
So next time your family tries to play matchmaker based on a harmless conversation, you can politely remind them that not every girl you know is a potential girlfriend. It’s important to set boundaries and communicate openly with your family about your relationships.
2. Boners. No explanation needed.
Ah, the dreaded boner. While this bodily function is perfectly natural and nothing to be ashamed of, it can still be a major source of embarrassment for boys. Here’s why boners can be such a pain:
– They can happen at the most inconvenient times: Whether it’s during a class presentation, a family gathering, or just a random moment in public, boners have a knack for popping up when you least want them to. It can be difficult to hide or ignore, leading to awkward and uncomfortable situations.
– They can be uncontrollable: Boners are often triggered by physical or hormonal changes that are beyond your control. This can make them frustrating and unpredictable, leaving you feeling helpless and exposed.
– They can be misunderstood: In a society that often stigmatizes and sexualizes male arousal, having a boner can carry a lot of shame and embarrassment. Boys may feel like they’re being judged or ridiculed for something that is completely natural and normal.
While there’s no foolproof way to prevent or avoid boners altogether, there are strategies you can use to manage them in a discreet and respectful manner. Taking deep breaths, thinking about something non-sexual, or discreetly adjusting your position can help alleviate the situation without drawing attention to yourself.
In conclusion, being a boy comes with its fair share of challenges and frustrations, but by setting boundaries, communicating openly, and practicing self-care, you can navigate these obstacles with grace and confidence. Remember, you’re not alone in dealing with these issues, and it’s okay to seek support from trusted friends and family members when needed. Stay strong, stay true to yourself, and remember that you are more than just the sum of your awkward moments and bodily functions. #BoysWithFeelings #NavigatingAdolescence #BoyhoodChallenges.
Sperm cramps?
As someone who is sadly also a boy, everything sucks.
My family does the same thing too 🙁 Except whenever I meet a guy. I dont even like dudes
Just cut off your family from your actual life, its that easy
My boner maker is too small to be seen so
Have a small weiner
I just tuck mine into my sock
to me it would be a period
Morning wood sucks bro
omg my grandparents used to do that first one I was just like bruh I’m 12 tf u want me to say
I hate to say it but the thing with the teasing is a universal thing, not just a guy thing.
I’m a dude and it pisses me off too but it’s all the same for girls as well dude.
Also you forgot literally anytime someone whacks the jewels.
Okay bud us girl get the “oooooo you like him!!! I KNOW YOU LIKE HIM! YIU CANR DENY IT!“ yeah- I have a few guy besties and pushy girl friends… bur the guys they talk about me liking I’ve know FOREVER 😭 and ofc I love them so much! But they’re like brothers to me
if you want to get rid of a random boner then flex your thighs, it will take blood away from your dick and kill your boner.
Those are just the hormones talking, never hate yourself. A Native American dude from louder milk said not to hate yourself because it’s like hating everyone that has the same blood as you
2 is not a problem if you wear baggy pants
Agree
Okeedokee
I’m a girl, and I get the whole ‘ooo do you like her?’ According to my friends I have about 13 ‘boyfriends,’ including my brother and my dad. Don’t ask
2 things I hate as a girl.
1. My family saying “ooo do you like him?” To me after I mention a guy I saw in the hallway
2. Period cramps. I have ovarian cysts and they suck so much
Jesus loves y’all
I literally didn’t mention any of my opposite gender friends for like 3 years for the same reason (boners)
Mfs be saying I got a boner when I’m soft 😭😭😭
1 of the many things I hate about being a girl
My dad joking about me having a bf when I don’t or saying if I think anyone is cute
My dad said, in front of me, that he thought my friend and I would be a cute couple
As a gay boy I have to disagree with that 2nd point!
i hate when people generalize or say “of course a man would do/say that”
yes i know most man are assholes, but there’s a LOT, LOT of men who are chill and shouldnt be generalized
Puberty sucks
Jokes on you my shits to small to notice
