Did you ever talk to someone that keeps switching what eye they’re looking at? Dude, pick a side!
i don’t look at their eyes i look at the bridge of their nose because eye contact makes me uncomfy
For me, eye contact can be overwhelming. I find it helpful to focus on the subject’s forehead or nose instead. This way, I can maintain a connections without feeling too exposed.
I look at the bridge of their nose 👃
Jokes on you I don’t make eye contact so I stare at the place between the eyebrows
Bi-ocular vison both eyes are separate in my vision. I can stare directly I to both eyes and creep people out. Very nice trick during Interogations.
I’d rather look at the center of their forehead, it drives them crazy.
Have to be careful not to lock eyes with a wizard.
I usually try to lock both on both, but sometimes it feels weird and I know it’s not so I’ll let my lazy eye do its thing and fuck with the person by switching back and forth which eye I’m using to look at them with. The real fun starts when I let both eyes go and stare at stuff behind them.
I hate thinking about this mid conversation, I never know where to look. Some other things like this that are annoying: thinking about breathing and forgetting how, and trying to sleep with your eyes closed and thinking about what goes on underneath.
I stare just above the head and unfocus my eyes. Let my mouth hang while breathing loudly and then laugh once.
It’s really distracting in movies when you can see an actor’s eyes zigzagging between another actor’s.
I look at their lips to understand them.
If you want to mess with them, look at their forehead
Look between the eyes.
It’s useful if there’s a confrontation to actually switch the eye you’re looking at. It’s intimidating, and the other person will feel like you’re trying to find the answer
i’m thinking about moana when she meets the crab and he goes “just pick one eye”
I know someone with a lazy eye. When they look into someone’s eyes they are actually looking at one eye and the rest of the room.
If you stare at the nose right between their eyes, it becomes uncomfortable for everyone involved.
Oh so THAT’S how I’m supposed to do
Nope, I have mastered independent eye movement enough to look you in the eyes, both of them
When my dad talked to me I used to look at his nostrils and pretend they were eyes (like a noseless face talking to me). He has a big nose so I’m sure staring at it made him self-conscious, but I was a kid with a short attention span. 😂
apparently looking at the eyebrows mimics direct eye contact, very helpful for those who don’t like actual eye contact, as i heard it also makes people feel like their souls are being stared at lol
I look at people’s forehead or nose because ✨autism✨
the amount of socially awkward people in here is astounding, why tf can’t you make eye contact with people?
