🤔 Anyone else’s company keep talking about AI and Gen AI but it seems nobody knows what it actually means?
I feel you on this one! It’s like we’re all speaking a different language when it comes to AI. But hey, fear not! Let’s brainstorm some solutions together:
– Organize a workshop or training session to educate everyone on the practical uses of AI in our company 📚
– Collaborate with the IT department to see if they can provide some real-life examples of AI implementation 🖥️
– Reach out to external experts or consultants who can shed some light on how AI can benefit our specific industry 🌐
Let’s crack the AI code together and unlock its true potential for our company! Who’s in? 💡#LetsGetSmartAboutAI
No different than the blockchain was a few years ago, bro! It was gonna revolutionize everything, bro! Until it didn’t. But investors love to hear you talk about the current thing.
Impossible to comment intelligently without knowing the nature of your field or company.
How many hours have you spent experimenting with ChatGPT-4 or other AI systems? Are you fully aware of abilities and expectations?
Are there companies writing customized apps/programs with AI interfaces for your industry, or other companies like yours?
AI has 27 billion applications for attorneys, marketing people, coders, technical writers, product designers, architects, medical workers, etc., regardless of industry.
In my opinion this is what they’re trying to express: They are trying to automate processes that humans are currently performing. But have no other terms to use besides these newer buzzwords.
Holy smokes – here’s one example, lots of folks have reported great help with AI re-doing and tailoring their resume and cover letters.
My wife used AI to help write an About Us story for a new small business she’s trying to start up.
Manufacturers are looking at combing AI with imaging to spot imperfections with products/parts produced on the assembly line – thousands per day.
I know of a company also using AI in their Enterprise Storage product – it learns best how to separate cold/hot data – so some use cases of Gen AI isn’t readily noticeable by end users.
Our company is using Gen AI for assistance with creating lots of internal training videos – helps to drastically cut many hours.
I used it to help gain access to 5,000 leads, many actionable, for sales/marketing team with respects to a specific industry. Put in context, they chase after leads at trade shows every quarter and can gain 100+ leads. And I’m not even into sales or marketing – but their sales ensures my job + bonuses are nice and juicy.
I won’t get into specifics, but yes, Ai, can help 1,000%
Lol. I’ll bet you that no one on your exec team has bothered to try out Gen AI. They’re assuming that someone, somewhere in the org has figure out what to do.
Absolutely
gen ai isnt allowed at my company for security reasons. AI needs to mature before it will be useful to us, right now its just a toy.
whenever I think of AI I think of my last job where we got access to some microsoft ai tool but we couldnt figure our what the hell to use it on. it was basically an autofill/data entry program but we had already automated all that we could. without a total overhaul of our workflow AI was just not going to be useful
Yeah, these dipshits in senior management get briefings and articles about how AI will be transformative. And how they better not miss the AI wave, etc. But they have no idea what it even is or how it even works.
Based on what has been happening, I suspect this little “revolution” will unfold this way.
1) More companies use AI and lay off even more people
2) More and more errors will show, some more comical than others and gets worse since all the experts that would had normally notice and fix the errors are all laid off
3) CEOs will never admit they made a big mistake and leave without a golden parachute
4) They try to reverse course without admitting fault and find that their old labor force has moved on and/or very resentful
