My bank used to have a change counter in the lobby that would just deposit it right into your bank. One guy came in with 3x 5 gallon buckets full of change. It was so loud and it took forever to sort it all that everyone was just staring at him as he fed an endless amount of change into the machine.
The machine was gone the next week.
It also doesn’t charge a fee if you go to a self check out and pour change in for your purchase. The store I worked at just had a little flap with a single coin slot, if you lift the flap it’s just a bigger area you can pour in multiple coins at once
If you go to a bank they’ll give you cash without a fee
Casinos will also often convert it to cash for free.
