Hey everyone! π
I could really use some virtual hugs or maybe some advice right now. π After enduring back-to-back one-hour interviews today, I feel absolutely drained and exhausted. Has anyone else been in this situation before?
I know job searching can really take a toll on our mental health sometimes, so I wanted to share some tips that might help us bounce back from those energy-draining interviews:
– Take a mental health break: Treat yourself to some self-care activities like meditation, a hot bath, or watching your favorite TV show.
– Reach out to supportive friends or family: Venting out your frustrations to a loved one can help lighten the load.
– Stay positive and keep pushing forward: Remember that each interview is a learning experience, and the right job will come along eventually.
Let’s support each other through the highs and lows of the job search journey! πͺπΌ #YouGotThis #SelfCare
Interviews are mentally exhausting and draining for sure. Iβve had 8 of them over the past 2 weeks and needed to do nothing over the weekend to recharge. Between the prep/studying, anxiety and pressure to provide the best possible answers it is definitely taxing.
It’s tough. At least you’re getting them. At least mine are all on video (nice but still tiring). Some people aren’t even getting interviews.
Yes! Even if you’re in sales, it’s an entirely different thing to sell yourself to potential employers for hours on end in a day. I’m at a point where I only schedule up to one company interview and two recruiter calls a day, and space out my week that way. It means I have to be “on” the better part of the week, but it feels better to me than draining myself every day.
Finding a job is a full-time job π
