Hey everyone! 👋 Our team has been grinding away for the past year and finally launched our AI company targeting consumers and beauty a month ago. We’re thrilled to have hit 10,000 users already, with a bit of revenue coming in. 🚀
We’re pleasantly surprised by how sticky our product is, but now we’re looking for advice from others who have raised in the same space. Any tips on what worked/didn’t work for you? We’d love to hear your stories!
As we navigate this exciting new chapter, we’re considering a few strategies that may help us continue to grow and engage our user base:
– Leveraging data-driven insights to further personalize user experiences
– Building partnerships with beauty influencers and brands to broaden our reach
– Implementing gamification elements to increase user retention
What do you think? Any other ideas or experiences you can share? Let’s chat! 💬 #growthhacking
very general question can you add stuff about country, language, target customer, platforms being used – I’m also assuming you are talking about marketing which maybe you are not
If I were you I would prompt for reviews on your app. 10,000 users is a lot to only have 6 reviews on your app. Start by capitalizing on that, I would say
Just a quick clarification: You raised a ’round’ or ‘secured angel funding’. Raising a fund is something investors do.
I assume you’re looking to acquire more customers? Or, are you looking to convert the 10,000 users into paying customers?
The number of users is a key metric for venture capitalists, but it’s not a standalone indicator of a company’s success. Many entrepreneurs mistakenly believe that VCs are willing to fund their business indefinitely, as long as they can demonstrate rapid user growth. However, this misconception overlooks a crucial point: if you’re spending more to acquire customers than they’re generating in revenue, you’re operating at a loss. The goal is to reach a tipping point where your customer base is large enough to justify reducing your acquisition costs, allowing you to turn a profit. If you’re not profitable by that stage, something is amiss. Ultimately, VCs want to see a return on their investment, not just a growing user base.
As an AI company the users are great but also focus on Customer Ops and churn. Those are areas of concerns within this round of funding for AI projects.
What is the dau and mau.
It does not mean anything if dau and mau is low.
If they just signed up and never returned the app is not being used.
Wanna share how you got 10k users? Im on that path and would love to learn 🙂
