#Earn30kBy2024 #WebDevelopment #WordPress #SocialMediaMarketing #ContentCreation #Freelancing
Hey there!
If you’re looking to make 30k by 2024 using your skills in web development, WordPress, social media, content creation, and writing, I’ve got some great ideas to help you achieve your goal. Whether you’re considering a traditional 9 to 5 job or want to venture into something new, there are plenty of opportunities for you to explore.
Here are some actionable steps you can take to make it happen:
1. Freelancing Opportunities
– Consider freelancing in web development and WordPress. Platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiverr can connect you with clients who are in need of your skills. You can set your own rates and take on projects that align with your expertise.
– Leverage your social media marketing and content creation skills to offer services as a social media manager or content creator for small businesses. Many companies are looking for individuals who can help them establish a strong online presence.
2. Create Your Own Website
– Showcase your skills by creating a professional website that highlights your web development abilities and your portfolio of work. Use this platform to attract potential clients and demonstrate your expertise.
– Blog about topics related to web development, WordPress, and social media marketing. By sharing valuable content, you can attract a following and potentially monetize your website through affiliate marketing or sponsored content.
3. Offer Online Courses and Workshops
– Consider creating online courses or workshops teaching others about web development, WordPress, and social media marketing. Websites like Udemy and Teachable are great platforms to host and sell your courses.
– Utilize your writing skills to create informative e-books or guides that provide value to those seeking to learn more about your areas of expertise. Selling these resources can be an additional source of income for you.
4. Networking and Collaboration
– Attend industry events, web development conferences, and meetups to network with professionals in your field. Building strong connections can lead to potential job opportunities, partnerships, and freelance projects.
– Collaborate with other freelancers or businesses that complement your skills. For example, team up with a graphic designer to offer comprehensive website development packages that include design and content creation.
5. Utilize Social Media and Online Presence
– Utilize social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook to showcase your skills and attract potential clients or employers. Share your work, engage with industry leaders, and participate in relevant conversations to increase your visibility.
– Optimize your website and social media profiles with relevant keywords related to your skills. This will improve your chances of being discovered by potential clients or employers through online searches.
By combining these strategies and staying persistent, you can definitely achieve your goal of making 30k by 2024 using your skills in web development, WordPress, social media, content creation, and writing. It’s all about leveraging your talents and maximizing opportunities in your field.
Remember, success doesn’t happen overnight, so be patient and continue to refine your approach as you work towards your target income. Best of luck on your journey to reaching your financial goal! 🚀

You could make that as an intern for any software company honestly. Heck, they’d pay you to learn a language beyond HTML CSS and JS.
IF you’re as good as social media and content creation as you say, what’s stopping you from making money from your own accounts with affiliate sales?
30k is small with a wage. But it’s actually a little harder than people would make it seem with a business you own. That’s $125 a day in profit in a normal work week. When I first started off that was pretty close to what I was making door to door before I really got the hang of things.
My vote is sales. You don’t need any skills starting off, just the ability to not give up. They will teach you how to sell and you can leverage that free education to start your own business eventually. Or, you can knock on 100 doors a day and only need a 1% close rate (low in door to door) and make that amount pretty easily with a good medium low priced product.
Finally, and I might get some flack for this, dropshipping. There’s so many resources available to teach you how to do it, and modest earnings like this are very achievable if you don’t give up. Which really is the most important part of any endeavor you embark on, grit. Stick it out you’ll learn how to be good at it and kill it.
Work at 9 – 5 that’s pays at least $20
Weekly – 40 x $20 = $800
Monthly (pre-tax) – $3,200
Yearly (pr-tax) – $38,400
Side hustle – invest in stocks, options and working at a part time that pays >$15.
Most jobs pay more than that so why not just get a job?
30K is a very feasible goal; well done. But you can make it easier for yourself.
Break it into smaller pieces and focus on your first 100 bucks a week. Don’t think about the 30k; don’t even think about half.
Focus on your first 100; the rest will follow. Trust me, those first bucks are the hardest. If you got this, you can make a weekly plan and scale up whatever you’re doing.
Then think about 100 > 1000 > 10k.
The first step is the biggest, the hardest, and the one that scares us most. But it’s the most important one ever. After the first step, the second one feels easier; you have been here before. The trick in the early days is to keep stepping on the next step. It could be daily, weekly, or monthly. But if you make it a routine, which turns into a habit, it will become more natural. (wrote [a whole piece](https://www.theflawedfounder.com/p/the-difference-between-failure-and-success) about this).
Hey folks,
I’ve set my sights on hitting $30k by the end of 2024, and I’d love your input on the game plan. I’m into web development, WordPress, social media antics, creating content, and the art of words.
Whether it’s a regular gig or something fresh, I’m all ears for your ideas. If you’ve been there, done that, or just have a knack for cool suggestions, spill the beans. How would you rock this with my skill set?
Big thanks to you awesome peeps for your insights!
Cheers! 🚀

You can leverage your web dev and content creation skills to offer tailored services to local businesses. Use LinkedIn to connect with entrepreneurs (you can try Sales Navigator it’s free for a month), run SEM campaigns, and try charging per subscription package instead of hourly rates for a more scalable income model.
Consider joining a network group like BNI. I know a web dev who did $85k worth of work in his first year all from his network group.
Create a product from your expertise that will help others with their projects/businesses. Since you are in web development – think boilerplates, browser plugins, etc. Here are some steps that might help you:
1) Identify niche from the groups (like this one)
2) Verify the use case by engaging with the audience on the forums
3) Build an MVP that solves 1 use case
4) Iterate, optimize, growth
Find local businesses with shitty websites and build them a new one for free or discounted heavily. Use that as a foot in the door to get to know them. Then offer to do paid socials etc. It’s important to focus on what value they receive in terms of more customers etc rather than the actual process. Once you have rapport it all boils down to how much you cost vs how much money they’ll make off your efforts. gohighlevel is great for this if you can get enough clients on retainer. You can charge like 2k-5k a month for this type service if you are managing landing page and email/sms automation and reducing time to contact lead.
My starting it helpdesk gig was close to 40k starting, 65k USD after 2 years work.
Well you definitely have skills that are valuable and sought after, so that’s a good start. They’re also skills you can make/charge a lot of money for, so that’s also good. There’s no need to do market research…just about anything in the digital advertising space has unlimited potential and upward growth. So that will save you time and money figuring out who and where your clients are.
Next, of all the skills you listed, which one is your preferred way to make money? If you could choose just one, which one would it be? Do you have any practical experience with that skill? A degree? Self taught?
$30,000 a year is a good number to shoot for. Getting to $1,000 should be your first goal IMO. If you can get to $1,000 then you can scale it 5, 10, and so on.
I can also share my journey which might help you out some and give you some direction.
– Approach local businesses and provide your service to them.
– use LinkedIn to grow your LinkedIn network, focus on business owners and entrepreneurs.
– SEM campaign.
– Final advice charge per subscription package instead of an hourly rate.
Literally ANY job, including mcdonalds and you’ll be exceeding 30K
Some math to help:
1. $30,000 over a normal 2000 hour work year is $15 per hour
2. Webdev and even entry freelance website management is easily $50-100 an hour, but let’s do a modest $25-30 an hour
3. That’s $50,000 – 60,000 at 2000 hours OR
4. $30,000 at $25 an hour is 1200 hours or at $30 an hour is 1000 hours this year (20 hours a week)
SO, if you charge $30 an hour, you need to find 20 hours a week for 50 weeks.
Feel free to break down for different hourly rates and hours worked. OR just dive for it and hustle hard. Sometimes planning will prevent you from actually getting stuff done (planning vs bias to action)
TONS of small businesses need new websites or even a website at all.
Wow, what a realistic financial goal for once, unlike the ones where people are trying to make a million dollars within 6 months.
My name is Dennis and I am a senior at Georgia State who has interned at Expedia, PwC, and Sodexo. And I have spent the last 4 months speaking to and surveying over 100+ students along with building relationships with students nationwide. I’ve done all of this to validate the business that I have been building. Right now, I have been running the business for free through emails and google docs but it has become obvious students need this and that it can also be scaled up and automated through a website and a few API calls.
I have modeled and forecasted the financials along with saving up to cover start-up costs. The business will be profitable from day one and the only missing piece is a co-founder who can do web development. I would love to set up a call to go over the findings from my surveys and research along with showing you the model and projections for the business. DM me, if you’re interested.
Depends in which country you are located.
Rich western countries have easily more than 50 000$ years incomes.
Most other people need to work 2-3 years to earn 30k 🙂
O.o $30k?
Work at McDonald’s, Home Depot or Lowes full time and you’ll make closer to 40k, even entry level.
If you’re good at WordPress you can build websites for people on fiverr or upwork or whatever, but you’ll lose to offshore workers.
Best bet is to find local businesses with shit websites and build them new ones if you want to make a decent wage doing it.
