Struggling with Lack of Focus
As a 24-year-old female, I have always battled with lack of focus, disorganization, and persistent laziness. I suspect I may have ADHD but am hesitant to seek a diagnosis due to strict mental health regulations for a government job I am applying for. After experiencing deep depression, I now desire to change the course of my life and thrive rather than just survive.

If you’ve been trapped in a cycle of laziness and are looking to reignite your ambition, how did you break free from this pattern?
Taking Small Steps
Currently, I am treating ambition as a muscle that needs training. I have noticed significant procrastination habits and struggles with getting my brain to cooperate. However, my determination to achieve success is unwavering, and any advice or strategies you can share would be greatly appreciated.

For me it was a change of mindset. I reached a point I called the “fuck it” point. I was so discontent with the way my life was going that I’d do anything to change it “fuck it” if you will. I wanted to have money and be able to buy stuff for the first time in my life. When I started earning it made me excited and just kept pushing.
Just going for a walk in the morning without my phone.
Took a simple job at my local airport. I was in a bad spot and getting that job really helped me.
If you don’t have a high value husband, you’ll need to fight for your survival. Start grinding to the bone and job hop.
I am old school, it was finding my significant others that really lit a fire under me. Can’t shower her with luxury vacations if we are poor
