Hey there, folks! 🌟 Can we just take a moment to appreciate how amazing the members of r/recruitinghell are? I stumbled upon this sub feeling absolutely shattered after yet another rejection in my job search journey. But you know what? You all came through for me in such a big way.
I posted about my struggles, shared my heartbreak, and you all responded with such kindness, encouragement, and solid advice. It truly gave me the strength to keep on going. And guess what? Today, I am sitting in my new office, as a software engineer, all thanks to the support and motivation I received here.
So, to everyone who might be going through a rough patch right now, facing rejections, feeling like giving up – please hear me out:
– Don’t give up on yourself. Believe that you are capable and deserving.
– Keep pushing forward, keep applying, keep networking. Your time will come.
– Take care of yourself throughout this process. Don’t burn out.
– Remember, you are not alone in this. Reach out for support when you need it.
Let’s keep the positivity flowing and continue to uplift each other. We’ve got this! 🚀 Thank you, r/recruitinghell! 💪 #JobSearchSuccess #BelieveInYourself
Congrats to you. And I’m glad this place was a help to you, even with its own dose of negativity… 😂😂
Congrats! The ride isn’t easy, but being around others going through the struggle helps a lot.
Congrats!
Seconded. They want us to feel alone. It helps them. We’re not.
Congratulations. Good for you.
Unfortunately, I know things will never change for me…I just do.
It’s been so bad, so bleak that I’m about to start work as an overnight stocker. I went from a position in management making 92K a year to a job with no benefits where I’ll likely be the only person who was stupid enough to invest in a master’s degree.
I wish the happy endings gave me hope, but they don’t. They just remind me I am that much more of a pathetic useless being.
Anyway…
You go kick that job in the dick. Good on you.
Congrats on the new job. Just recently had an interview that went really well. I hope I can make this same post soon!
