Dont set my alarm. Wash my hair. Take the dogs on a longer walk. Make a medium to high effort meal.
Massage chairs at the gym and catch up on sleep:)
I cook myself 1 nice meal of whatever I’ve been craving and meal prep for the week to make my work days go smoother. Also I sleep a lot.
Home mani/pedi, face mask, shave, and naps with my fat kitty.
Start my day with an extra long run. Then take a shower, do a hair mask, and sit in my bathrobe for an hour while I drink coffee and eat breakfast.
Yoga! It’s the best!
Yoga and meditation, doing chores and doing some hobby stuff
Taking myself out for my favorite drink, having my favorite lunch, going out for a walk, a cup of tea and a few hours of TV.
I start off my day by sleeping in, making myself a nice breakfast, and chilling out with some coffee. If I have a day where I have to run errands or clean, I try to find a moment in the day where I just do whatever I want – so, I try to do something like a hobby, watch a movie, exercise, read, or just allow myself to mindlessly scroll without guilt.
I do the same thing every week. Mani/Pedi, Oil treatment for my hair, Clay mask on my face, and a long relaxing bubble bath. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize just how important self-care is.
Catch up on errands, chores, shows, bulk cooking and exercise. Day off?? 🤷♀️
Go through my entire beauty /hygiene routine. Deep conditioner, face mask and pore cleansing, tweezing, shower. Exfoliate. Shave everything. Maybe put on some lashify. Clean up after myself as I go, clean extra. Find random things to deep clean. My makeup brushes, wash bath and dish towels. I get so satisfied after clearing all the clutter. Put on music of audio book/podcast while all this is happening. Mix in some naked dancing. Maybe treat myself to something out in the world like a latte or lunch. Do something active even if it’s just foam roll and stretching at home. Maybe something social like meeting up with a friend or just a quick phone call or text. Attack something on my to do list which may be kinda fun like planning my next trip or shopping for an item I want to actually do research on. I feel recharged when I look good, everything is clean, and I was productive.
I go to have a nice shower, wash-conditioner-mask for my hair, then all the lotions and stuff later.
Naps, girl….. naps.
On Saturdays I like to sleep in, enjoy coffee with my cat on my lap, check all my plants, go to the gym for however long I want, take a long shower, put on comfy clothes, watch my shows, bake something yummy and maybe go out to eat. On Sundays I do chores.
Get plenty of rest, get outside. I also wash my hair on the weekend. I usually eat better on the weekends because I have the time to create something I really enjoy instead of just shoving something in my face because I’m busy.
Don’t set my alarm. Take a very long shower with scrub and mask for my hair. Take a good time to moisturise my skin. Then make myself or order myself ramen and before that I put under eye patches in the fridge to cool down and put them on while eating ramen and watching some turkish show
Sleep in, eat breakfast, play video games, buy Starbucks or boba, go to the art gallery/go for a hike/go to the gym.
I get two days off from work a week. One is for meal prep, cleaning, errands, catching up on work. One is for weed and video games.
No alarm, don’t do anything. Maybe clean something.
I sleep in with my partner on one weekend day, then spend the morning with him. Once he takes off, I might watch a show, do chores, etc. Then I do my weekly grocery shopping in the evening that night. On the other day, I sleep in myself, nowing my grocery shopping is done. Then I like to curl up to read in my favorite chair with my coffee until noonish, maybe take a walk. I get on the computer and clear out/archive emails, and check the upcoming week, then go chill some more. I like it quiet and relaxing.
No alarm, extra cup of coffee, cleaning, naps, nicer dinner!
I don’t. My days off are filled with domestic work and parenting.
I sleep for a reeeaaaally long time
I’d always go out with friends. Just chill and go buy the biggest and juciest steak
Naps, and wash my hair. I shower everyday, just don’t wash my hair.
i take everything showers followed by a bubble bath with epsom salt. sometimes i take myself for a manicure and/or a pedicure. make a good quality dinner. sometimes i bake a favourite cookie. no alarm and wake up when my body feels ready. laze around and read.
Sleep in a little. Go to the gym for an hour, spend time stretching before heading out to get groceries, cook something, watch some TV, have dinner with my husband, or go out with friends for dinner.
Sleep and do one fun thing!
sleep in, clean, organize closet or mess from week of working, get a coffee and take a beautiful walk! (naps and reading also)
On the days I really need a break, I will sleep in and do absolutely nothing important. Wake up whenever (or when my dog wakes me up), watch TV, have food delivered, maybe text with my friends. This is what I’ll be doing Friday night and Saturday and I’m super stoked. The last few weeks have been full of people and I need a break.
Sleep, till about midday, then do nothing much.
Get into nature to exercise (hiking, mountain biking, gravel biking, whatever). I need fresh air after being stuck inside all week and trees and dirt and grass and moss smell after being stuck inside breathing recirculated air.
Spend time outside, don’t set an alarm if I can help it, look at art, look for cool animals, nap, yoga, cook something for the week
Reading a good book I don’t have time for during busy week, sleeping longer and hot baths are my go to
Sleep. All the sleep. As much as I hate doing it because it takes forever, a good “everything” shower because I feel so good after. And then a nap 🤣
I will wear my pjs when dropping my kids at the bus stop this Friday. Then I’ll go back to bed and read for a while and listen to the silence that I never get. Eventually I’ll get out of bed, go out for lunch with my husband, do some casual Xmas shopping, and that will be it, I’ll be back to pick them up from the bus. Order pizza for dinner and call it a paid vacation day!
I’m fortunate enough that I live in a city with a rich arts and culture scene. I love spontaneously pooping into art galleries or going to see a movie at a local theatre. When I’m at home I’ll balance cooking with chilling and relaxing with a book or TV
Self care specifically, have a drink, play, rest longer. Draw.
I do absolutely nothing and feel well rested.
A day off isn’t complete without a really yummy meal, I’ve replaced drinking with substantial meals. I love going to my families house and cuddling with my baby nephews
Porn and lots of self love. UberEats. Massage. Yoga. Hiking. Everything shower.
After the household things are done (laundry, dinner, cleaning, bird, dogs, wifely duties, errands) I bed rot.
I generally move so slowly and don’t make a bunch of plans on my days off. I will leisurely run errands, maybe do some grocery shopping (I plan out my meals on other days), buy some flowers and make myself an arrangement to have at my desk while I work for the next week. I’ll maintain my house plants, put on a comfort show while I tidy up my room or prep food for easy meals for the week. Look up recipes for the next time I go grocery shopping.
