It should be illegal for parents to circumcise their kids without proper medical justification
i dont really care i mean girls seem to like it so its fine by me to be cut
My friend is. We obviously don’t talk about it much but he doesn’t really care about it. He plans on never having children and his wife too. The only thing was it took about 3 months to stop pain and scratches, rashes etc. after the op but not too bad, just more common than normal iches and the pain was like needle. Painful for a bit but didn’t last long.
it’s stupid and unnecessary
Shouldnβt be done as a child at all imo since itβs effectively just a cosmetic surgery since it doesnβt offer many benefits at all otherwise
I donβt really get an opinion cause Iβm a girl but I donβt think itβs right that itβs a procedure done on babyβs without a medical justification
Itβs genital mutilation. Iβm not gonna rag on anyone who was circumcised by their parents, but I donβt understand how you could define chopping bits off your baby as anything else.
If you’re in the US, half to two thirds of guys in your age group are circumcised. In most of the world outside the US, most guys are not!
The vast majority of the time there’s no reason to be.
IMO shouldnβt be done. I got circumcised not sure why had no say
I’m circumcised but kind of wish I wasn’t. Or at least wish I got to choose for myself
imo it shouldn’t be done unless there’s a necessary medical reason to do so
Itβs really weird, unless there is a medical reason (very rarely), in which case itβs totally fine. It is almost always completely unnecessary, can cause complications and is often done on a newborn.
So glad I wasn’t, fuck that
I’m circumsized and I’m chill with it. In Judaism you do it when the baby is 8 days old so you don’t really remember anything, and it doesn’t have too many downsides. If I could choose now I’d want my younger self to be circumsized and I’d prefer it being done when I’m young so I won’t remember anything. Btw I’m not religious, but I still support that stuff because of the tradition which is important to me.
So yeah, should be up to the parents imo.
not circumcised, i dont think you should be able to get your kid circumcised. it can be an option obvy but the person who’s wang is on the chopping block should get the final say, even if its a religious thing
personally, if i had a boy, i wouldnβt get him circumcised. i wasnβt, and even though i wouldnβt have remembered it, iβm kinda glad iβm not. but, i donβt see why it shouldnβt be allowed for everyone else.
Unless needed for medical reasons you shouldnt circumcise your child.
Not being bothered to teach them how to wash their dicks is not a medical reason for circumcision.
Oh boyβ¦
Logically, it doesnβt hurt if you get it done as a baby in the sense you donβt remember, and you donβt have to go through extra effort to wash behind the skin, so +1 points for convenience.
I am but when I have kids they wonβt have it done. I donβt think that it is necessary and itβs not my choice to make tbh
been circumcised as a baby and tbh I don’t remember the feeling or why I had to do it. If there’s no medical complications to not getting circumcised then I don’t see a problem with not getting circumcised
Yes. I don’t feel anything about it. People say it’s genital mutilation, but it feels fine down there. Works properly, in more ways than one… But basically yeah. I don’t really care.
Wash it well and you’re fine
I was circumcised as a baby, honestly kinda like it, if only for cosmetic reasons, otherwise I don’t really care
I mean, it’s a little bit of skin on your dick, who cares, it shouldn’t really make a difference whether you’re circumcised or not?
I don’t get all the outrage about it to be honest. If the procedure is done well and by trained professionals who know what they’re doing, then it’ll cause minimal damage. You’ll be in pain for weeks if the procedure is done when you’re an adult, and it’s not like you can miss a part you never remember having nor really need.
As a cir myself, I have no experience of having it BUT i would like the option to have it and I think people should have a say in it. (It was lost due to religious reasons when i was very young)
I’m circumcised and I like it π but I do have a scar on the tip as the doctor nibbed my tip a lil’ ;(
I’m circumcised because my parents raised my Jewish so it’s only for religious reasons. I ain’t really have a problem with it though.
Iβm very glad I was circumcised for several reasons:
1. How it looks – I feel it looks better.
2. Lower risk of infection
3. Lower risk of penile cancer (or so Iβve heard)
4. Easier to clean
5. I got it over with early on so I donβt have to do it at a point where I would feel/remember it
American geezer hereβ¦born in Irelandβ¦uncut and love it. Naturally, hygiene is THE most important aspect. Keep it clean!!! Will not discuss the intimate issues here because of the forum.
I wasnβt and Iβd say the only thing that bothers me abt it is that itβs harder to clean cause u have to get underneath the skin and boy does it stink under there if u donβt clean properly
I was circumcised at birth and yeah idc, itβs the same thing but without annoying skin so I guess itβs fine
Iβm circumcised, I really donβt care tbh. I know I was circumcised for religious reasons but also thereβs health benefits for it too. Easier to clean, makes it bigger. Overall like a 8/10 experience.
i want it back
It is an unnecessary cosmetic surgery performed on a young boy without their consent. It is ethically immoral. Simple as that.
Women are a bit more attracted to them, sure. Is what it is. But I mean..it isnt like you are whipping it out on a first date unless that date went reallly well lol. Not sure if some women have it as a dealbreaker⦠I would say if they did they probably arent anyone all that noteworthy to begin with anyway.
Hear me out, unconsensual cosmetic surgery on babies involving genitals shouldn’t be legal.
Idk, it’s weird ig.
Just can’t masturbate with my hand.
Makes jerking easier. No cap.
idk bro, im circumsised but I feel like masturbating would be better with foreskin
Fucking gross. Why would you wanna mutilate your child’s penis?!
I cannot believe we are still trusting the words of a 1700s cereal company owner
I am circumcised because my parents are big on religion but I think it should be up to the individual.
I am not. It is male genital mutilation and should be banned except it is strictly necessary for health.
