#JobOffer #DrugTesting #NewBeginnings
Hey everyone! 🌟 So, here’s the deal – I recently landed a job working with printers at a hospital, which is super exciting for me as I’m transitioning from bartending to IT. The catch? I’ve been a regular weed smoker for the past decade, and now I have to pass a drug test for the job.
I’ve been sober for about 12 days now and am committed to staying that way, but I’m unsure about how to approach this drug test situation. Should I be upfront with my employer about my past smoking habits and offer to undergo regular drug testing in the future? Or should I consider using synthetic urine to pass the test?
Here are my options as I see them:
– 🌿 Be open with my employer and offer to undergo regular drug testing.
– 💧 Consider using synthetic urine, but be wary of potential consequences.
I’m looking for advice and suggestions on how to navigate this situation. Any thoughts or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated! Let’s help each other out. 💭✨
Let’s keep the conversation going!
I suggest smoking up another one to relax
I used synthetic urine to get my current job. Not in IT but it passed just fine. just follow the instructions to the T.
Personally I would just be honest upfront if there is no way of delaying the job start.
QUICK FIX SYNTHETIC URINE!! Have used it multiple times, even comes with instructions and a warming packet
What state? Some companies don’t even screen for it even in medical
Stop smoking weed bro you’re a grown man
Some drug tests don’t even screen for weed anymore.
However if you are looking forward to a job fixing printers at a hospital you might have smoked yourself dumb. You’re combining 2 of the most annoying parts of IT. Focus on moving quickly
This is ITCareerQuestions bro
Quick Fix express shipping just to have; I’m a long time smoker and have been asked if I would submit to a drug test for my last 4 jobs, signed the consent, and never had to get tested and was hired.
Still keep a bottle of up to date Quick Fix just in case though.
Ironically the longer and heavier you’ve smoked, the quicker it leaves your system since it’s used to dealing with it.
I don’t do drugs but have a shy bladder. I don’t feel any anxiety, the pee just won’t come out. Absolute nightmare
Have you taken a cheap test from your local pharmacy? That should be your first stop…I know they say 30 days, but that’s really on the high end.
Is anyone actually reading OP’s message here? The message is clear – The dangers of marijuana will make you want to fix printers. Stay informed my friends.
as director I would never advise you to purchase synth piss from amazon at least a week before your test. I also wouldn’t tell you to not worry about the hand warmer trick to warm the piss. I would never tell you to get the underwear that has the testi pouch (doesn’t matter your equipment downstairs … you need the pouch) to hold the synth piss all day. I wouldn’t tell you to put in your drawers and leave it there all day until your test. Oh … I also wouldn’t warn you that there is a little sticky fucker over the bottle opening that is best advised to be removed before the appt.
I work for a lot of different orgs simultaneously and honestly … none of them give a fuck about weed. I am in a legal state and clients are in TX and most of them are asking me to bring goodies when I make site visits quarterly.
Drink water. Goto a sauna few times a week. You will be fine.
Fucking lmao I’m dealing with this too. I hope it’ll be cleaned out by my test if I have to take one but I read 30 days isn’t nearly enough for chronic smokers so synthetic back up it is
Is there a way to get a medicinal card in your state? I did this and passed my test, was requested for an IT job. Got the card once and then I let it expire since I don’t get my weed from dispos.
Is Marijuana legal in your state? It is where I am and I was able to be be up front with HR about my concerns, they told me it wasn’t an issue since it was legal.
Use synthetic urine. What you do on your own time doesn’t matter if you’re doing your job well. It’s a ridiculous invasion of privacy, considering alcohol is universally legal and accepted despite damaging you way more.
