to add to this, people shouldn’t lose their virginity expecting this because it’s wrong, but also because it won’t work. You love your gf (pressumably), you had a nice experience with her where you both were comfortable and it made you happy with no regrets, you fixed your addiction by developing a healthier relationship with sex as a concept. Meaningless sex certainly won’t do that.
