#PartTimeOpportunities #WorkLifeBalance #FlexibleSchedules
Hey there! 👋 Do any of you work a full-time job with full-time hours (40+) that allows you to work less than 5 days a week? I’m curious to learn more about this work setup and how it’s possible to achieve a better work-life balance. Here are some questions to get the discussion going:
– What is your position title?
– What are your responsibilities/qualifications?
– What size company do you work for (small, mid-size, large, mega corp)?
I’m currently exploring options for a job that is 3-4 days a week, but still provides the benefits of a full-time position. One possible solution that comes to mind is looking for remote or freelance positions that offer flexible schedules. This way, I can choose my working days and hours while still being fully engaged in my role.
Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below so we can all benefit from each other’s insights! Let’s help each other find fulfilling jobs with manageable schedules. 💼🌟
I don’t, but I will say I have a lot of flexibility in my role.
I usually don’t open my laptop until 10am or later, but I work from my phone (email + Teams) starting around 8:30am or earlier every day.
This is after establishing myself for over a year at my current company. Everybody knows I get the job done and better than anyone else, so I have some leeway. This doesn’t mean it’s truly only 3/4 days a week.
I worked from 7pm-midnight last night. Actual non-stop grinding which is a huge difference than what many people might think “working” is.
Right now I am in a sauna but have sent probably 10 emails already. Have meetings starting at 11am so will take those remote, go in around 1:30pm to take an in-person meeting, then leave around 3:30pm.
I will be back in front of a laptop from 10pm-midnight.
Some people might not like this and prefer a structured “I work at this time and that’s it”, but I prefer this flexible schedule. A typical week might be 10-15 hours of actual grinding and overall 40-50 hours of “working”. If busy, can be 50+ hours of grinding which is exhausting
I feel like most corporate jobs are 3 days a week. Im a sales analyst at a big fashion company. ~90k a year Tuesday-Thursday, 22 years old graduated from Stern.
Registered Nurse
In Cali they make around 110k, but check for your state.
12 hour shifts x3, you can pick up overtime and they are in demand.
I’m not a nurse btw this is what I’ve heard.
