My immediate response to the depression problems would be trying natural stuff because I know prescribed stuff can have side effects and not help much and even make it worse. Have you ever tried saffron? You can get it from health supplement stores or online. Something called methylene blue helps too, which is available on Amazon.
I have also been wondering if a detox could help you with the pain in your hands. Sounds silly, I know, but what if there are toxins in your body causing inflammation and a detox helped ease those pains? We all have an excess of heavy metals (lead, aluminium, cadmium) and micro plastics inside us, and there are supplements you can buy to flush it out and a regular visit to a sauna will help you sweat the plastics out.
When I had depression I made the career change to care work, and helping people made me feel better about myself and exercising daily created feel good chemicals in me. I think they’re called endorphins.
I wish you luck, I hate to hear about people feeling down. X
Hey there, you have web dev diploma and some experiences as well. That’s amazing! Try to find a job in analytics, marketing, HR, anything that will pay you more than current job. Depression is hell, but be proud of yourself that you endure through it. If you feel better in a bigger city I would recommend you to rent a cheap flat there and to be among people as much as you can. I’m saying this because I feel stalled as well and you are doing just great as you are doing. Try to Focus on whats bothering you the most and try to alleviate the issue. Being in debt is not good but it could be even worse. I bet you are able to find a career in your profession an don’t be that hard on yourself. For example what I have found for myself was that being a little bit egoistic helped me to focus more on myself rather than others. This helped me to overthink less.
From your service industry experience is there a big city you can move to where you could get a good gig at a fancier restaurant working less hours while you maybe complete a bachelors in something that you feel compensates you well and you could also mentally / physically tolerate? I would start looking on job boards and work on a good resume & cover letter to first start with finding a good gig so you can rest your body more. It is hard work on the body. I’m not sure if you’re able to go to any college programs for certain job fields for free? We have that here for in demand fields and if there’s a job within that area that you find tolerable give it a shot.
