#CompanySwag: A Never-Ending HR Struggle?
Hey everyone! So, I’ve been in the HR game for 5 years now and let me tell you, ordering company apparel for 800+ employees is no joke. It’s like herding cats, but with t-shirts and hoodies. People constantly give me the wrong sizes, complain about the fit, and somehow, it all falls on my shoulders. It’s a tough gig, but someone’s gotta do it, right?
I’ve been on the hunt for a platform that can make my life easier in this department. I stumbled upon Merchloop and have a meeting booked with them next week, but I wanted to see if any of you fine folks have any recommendations or insights on a better solution.
So, any ideas? Let’s brainstorm together and figure out how to streamline this process once and for all. Your input could save my sanity (and possibly my job)! 😉 #HelpAGirlOut #HRHeadaches #CompanyCulturePoll Time! Have you ever had issues with company swag ordering?
👍 Yes
❤️ No
Let’s chat and find a solution together! 💬
Why do you need a full online store? You could build an order form with a size guide in any basic survey platform.
Geiger might be able to assist with this request, we used them for a past company. You might be able to reach out to promotion websites like positive promotions or 4imprint to see if they have this option.
We use Promotional Solutions. They have set up two stores for us.
Swag n Send may be able to do this
My favorite platform is LogoUp. MOST of their items have a “no minimum order required” so it satisfies everyone.
Generally any corporate promotional company can set up a website for you. Usually there is a fee unless you can negotiate that.
If you are one location you’ll want someone local to save on shipping.
It helps to make the vendor get the manufacturers garment measurements for you. Promotional stuff is always sized differently than dept store stuff. Polos can be fitted or loose and it changes how they fit. I go through this all the time with our company store.
Get rid of it uniforms. It is one of the most undignified things an employer can do.
Sanmar is the best and they are one of the biggest in the industry. I work for a 3PL company and we use them to supply our clients.
Lands end set up a company store for me. Quality is good and prices were decent. Many sizes and styles to choose from. They can even get the employee a gift certificate code to use
We used Darter Specialties and it was free and easy. The quality of the items was great and they handled all orders that needed to be exchanged.
How many locations do you have? Are you located in one geographical area? There is likely a local shop that could handle this for you.
I found a local shop willing to build a website for the company if we agreed to let them be our exclusive supplier. Not a direct recommendation, I know, but I think small local businesses often get overlooked in situations such as this.
We’ve used Happy Box gifting, pretty good results.
Staples has a solution for you. Some white labeling.
Do you do HR for Merchloop? Lol
Snappy! You design it and then send a collection via email to employees to choose what they want.
