Thanks for being so in depth! I enjoy writing so this might be a good move for me 🤔
Sent you a DM!
Would anyone be interested in an app that would convert your existing content(podcasts, YouTube videos, blogs) into a newsletter?
What’s the name of your newsletter? I’m in the FF industry, as well, and would love to check it out.
I’d love to know what newsletter platform you use but also the reason I didn’t DM you this as requested is perhaps it would be good knowledge to also know what other platforms you’ve tried and how you came to the conclusion of using the one you did.
I’ve found that most platform pricing goes up based on number of subscribers so the cost becomes considerable at a certain point and to keep it running you need to figure out monetisation sooner rather than later
I’ve probably missed the party, but what content do you share for something like fantasy football? Is it difficult to come up with fresh content on a weekly basis, or is the content based around the weeks football?
Thanks for this post! Saved for future reference.
This is extremely helpful. I’ll be kicking off a newsletter I’ve been working on in Q1 and I greatly appreciate your insight. Thank you for taking the time to share!
thank you for sharing and keep going!
Wow, thank you for the great post and congrats for the results. It seems to me this can totally be applied to blogs too. Do you see any big difference?
I love when people whose target market isn’t entrepreneurs share their growth strategies in this sub 🙂
Assuming, of course, that this isn’t a sneaky plug for the newsletter platform you use, or a slow-play into a course on how to build newsletters.
> we expected to convert around 2% of our subscribers. We were wrong. We actually converted around 1.7%
I’m pretty sure 1.7%, by any definition, would be “around 2%”.
These are a collection of great tips, but I’m curious about the actual story that got you started. Were you just fanatical about fantasy football and wanted to share to an audience, or were you looking at it as a monetisation process from Day 1? What’s your day job?
What were the early steps? How did you get your first 100?
I’m sure the answer is buried in the math somewhere, but how much do you actually make now? How much of that goes back into growing the newsletter?
