Hey there! ๐ Dealing with situations where a friend has been bullied to the point of attempting suicide can be incredibly tough and overwhelming. It’s crucial to provide support and intervene effectively to help them through this difficult time. Here’s how you can navigate this challenging situation with care and understanding.
Understanding the Situation
First and foremost, it’s essential to understand the severity of the situation and grasp the impact that bullying can have on an individual’s mental health. Bullying can lead to feelings of worthlessness, isolation, and hopelessness, which can culminate in suicidal thoughts or actions.
Supporting Your Friend
Here are some steps you can take to support your friend who has experienced bullying:
1. Listen attentively: Allow your friend to share their feelings and experiences without judgment.
2. Offer empathy: Show understanding and compassion for what they are going through.
3. Encourage professional help: Suggest seeking help from a therapist or counselor to address their mental health needs.
4. Stay connected: Regularly check in on your friend and remind them that they are not alone.
Seeking Help
If your friend is in immediate danger of harming themselves, do not hesitate to seek help immediately. Contact a crisis intervention hotline, inform a trusted adult or family member, or take them to the nearest emergency room for immediate assistance.
Recovering and Healing
Recovery from the effects of bullying and attempted suicide is a journey that requires patience and ongoing support. Encourage your friend to engage in self-care practices, cultivate healthy coping mechanisms, and build a strong support network to aid in their healing process.
Remember, you are not alone in supporting your friend through this challenging time. Together, we can create a safer and more compassionate environment for everyone. Together, we can stop bullying and promote mental health awareness. ๐ช #YouMatter #KindnessMatters

Who tf is down voting a post like this?
Hope they get better
Wtf is wrong with ppl, I’m so sorry for your friend nobody should ever have to go through that and those kids should be expelled
Honestly sucks cuz I’m pretty sure this is what’d happen to me if ppl knew abt this, which means I and nobody else can experiment when it rly matters the most
I hope ur friend gets the help they deserve and that those assholes get what’s coming to them now or later
Oh those are just eddy dumbasses. They will hate themselves in a sec. Before then, I hope they change..
Im really sorry to hear about that.Human nature is both a curse and a blessing because people never truly understand a victim if theyโre having fun.Happens all the time which is why its so unfortunate
holy shiy
I hope your friend gets all the help they need
and whats more, I hope those kids face criminal charges or SOMETHING because thats fucking INSANE
Where… why do people act like this? I hope you do eventually see the person again. Much support, if you want someone to talk to I can :3
Report them to the principal and reach out to your friendโs parents immediently. Do not hesitate to tell your counselor or someone else in power. Just bring those people to justice. If your friend needs space give him time, after the situation is resolved reach out again. Contact his parents and send a message to them that you care. Donโt wait, do it now!!!
I would love for those fucks to be beat up to the point of being on life support
My mother is a councilor for 11-12 year olds with 35 years of experience in a classroom. Gen alpha is both the dumbest and has some of the most cruel children sheโs ever dealt with, and she started teaching when gangs were big in schools where we live
Thereโs no major criminal activity, just stuff where she wishes she could do a Tywin Lannister impression (youโll understand when your older heโs a character in a show everyone should watch at least once)
The amount of homophobia in this is uncalled for and disgusting. Your first takeaway, main impression, and thing you decide to comment about from this should not be โgenderfluid, ew.โ It should be instead noting that that mindset drove someone to try to kill themselves TWICE.
oh god im sorry for your friend
I had my best friend attempt when I was around 14 so I completely get your perspective. For him it was abuse from his dad. Iโm so sorry your friend is going through this and that you are also dealing with it. I hope youโre okay, itโs hard to go through. When my friend attempted I was the only person he said goodbye to so his parents stopped him contacting me for about 3 months after the attempt, it really makes you feel hopeless.
Iโm glad the attempt wasnโt successful and wish you both the best moving forward as friends โค๏ธ
I’m not saying violence is the answer, but those kids sound like they’ve never been punched in the face before.
Why do they act like this? I hope they work on themselves and learn to respect people regardless of their origins and identity.
I’m so sorry to hear this, do you know if they’re okay now?
Edit: let me rephrase: do you know if they’re safe?
Damn, what’s with people these days?? Idk what else to say rn cuz this is just heartless โ ๏ธ
fuck bullying. No one should make fun of others and drive them to suicide.
Bro if I found these kids irl they’d be writing death certificates for them yesterday
Those guys should be arrested for attempted homicide
Thats horrible… I hope your friend gets the help they need and those bastards what they deserve. I mean seriously; who just does that and straight up laughs about it later? Some people really are just monsters.
Sorry bro
Iโm sorry for your friend. My partner is gender-fluid and I fucking hate all the shit they have to go through. Hope those bullies get many kicks to the balls, and Iโm really sorry both you and your friend had to go through this ordeal
This is also the parents’ fault for not seeing the signs and not taking them out of school. I hope they get better and can live life peacefully when they return
