I’d upgrade from a studio to a 1-bedroom apartment, maybe in a new city.
I would be traveling a lot more. $12,000 a year can pay for a lot of flights/hotels.
Paying off the mortgage early. Removing that debt would be a life improvement in my eyes. Once that is paid off, save and spend in chunks to make the house look/feel/function better.
I’d play SO much more golf.
Whores and coke. Don’t get pissed because I said the quiet part out loud.
I’d like to see my older children more. I see them and have them one night a week. I’d like that to be 3 or 4.
I’d buy new underpants so I never have to wear a used pair again.
I would have so much nice bike shit.
Straight into my various registered tax-sheltered investment accounts.
A weekend getaway each month for my wife and I. Or at least a couple nice date nights.
Pay off my debts and fix my teeth
Lease a sports car for entertainment.
Traveling
Golf lots of golf
Well that can all go to modifying cars
Actually be able to take care of myself for once. I never had much need for entertainment, but being able to seek help/opportunities to learn to do some basic stuff for myself, medical and rehab for injuries, build out some kind of method to be active in the winters, and basically start 100% taking care of myself and get and be healthy for once in my life.
Dem hoes!
Definitely a boat.
I’d use it to buy a muscle car. That’s about what car notes run a month theses days, right??
House cleaning, personal gym coach and probably more eating out
Travel!
The casino, we making it out of the hood one day!Â
Pizza and cheesecake.
Pay off debts, buy an engagement ring, save for a house.
Car parts… lots of car parts…
I’d probably lease a really fun car. My life is already pretty good – I’ve got a minimal mortgage (with some inheritance in the bank to pay it off when the 5-year term is up), enough money to eat well and buy games/books I want, and to get decent clothing when I want it. I also have a new EV already but it would be fun to have like a small sports car to have more fun with, or even something like a new Bronco with the removable top that’s better for road trips.
Massages.
I’d save and travel to SE Asia
Pay off debt then invest in index funds and let it ride.
Lots and lots of Manny pedi’s. I am totally metrosexual. Girls shouldn’t be the only one that self pampers!
cycling, triathlon, racing.
Get my car fixed, and then save so I can actually retire someday.
Oh I’m completely pimping out my home gym shed. First replace the shed itself, then some lat pulldown/row action, then the 2-for-1 leg extension/leg curl and leg press/hack squat combos, followed up by some more bumper plates and iron plates. Finish off with a set of dumbbells from 5 to 130.
Ugh, massage and spa days. What a waste of money…. if only I had the money to waste…
Fishing gear and gadgets
Babysitting and date nights for me and my wife
Honestly. I’m putting $1K into a Roth IRA every month.
Don’t sleep on massages and bodily self care. I already budget for an hour long massage every other week and I feel sooooo much better day to day. I work in construction and workout 7 times a week. Proper massages work wonders
Vacations and tools for working on watches.
A cleaning person.
Damn, I hate cleaning. I can do everything else just fine, but I actively avoid cleaning when I can.
I’d get a dog
It seems like the spirit of the question is to use it for fun and not for investments. I’d probably use it to take my friends out 3-4 times per month.Â
Don’t think rent, mortgage counts.
It could pay for a proper boxing gym and I could have enough to maybe take a day trip once per month.
Daily Massages, hot tub and sauna.
