Honesty!!
And a good listener.
The ability to laugh at yourself. But not in a deprecating way.
The ability to laugh at oneself. I think we, especially women, struggle with it sometimes and I am always IMMEDIATELY attracted to people that will offer a self-deprecating joke.
It’s obviously a slippery slope, and self-deprecation can get out of hand. I’m also a big fan of loving yourself and being strong; but I think the ability to laugh at yourself is a healthy sign of someone that’s comfortable in their skin and aren’t overly defensive, and have some wit about them.
I have been through some sh$t, but still, I am a kind, mindful, and thoughtful person.
My power is loving others and finding beauty in small everyday things 💕
I admire openness, vulnerability, and compassion.
Patience. I don’t have it, but I’m glad my mother does.
Empathy…
Compassion
real common sense
faourite is people who can talk well. Chatty, but interesting. Extrovert
being completely immersed in/obsessed with the thing they’re passionate about . ofc not in a way that harms/hinders themselves or anyone else, but I love when you can tell that someone has an interest in something by the way they incorporate it into their everyday routine inadvertently. you ask them what they’re thinking of, and you can tell they’re going to say something related to their interest before they even answer. they use it in metaphors to explain other concepts, make offhand references/have an unexpected amount of knowledge on something and you can tell it’s because that is somehow vaguely related to their passion. I love love love this.. people can be *passionate* about things, but I love meeting people and thinking, “ah, I can immediately imagine what your cutie mark would be if we were all poniesm”, or gradually getting closer to them and realizing everything they do or enjoy makes total sense and being able to put together the pieces. it brings me great comfort and joy to be able to meet people who have been able to find things that were made just for them, and use them to breathe so much meaning into their lives.
my partner is a lot like this about his clothing and fashion, and it’s so so cute.. makes me want to fill his wardrobe with every single item he sends me from grailed or some niche website he found in the archive of a social media page with 30 followers.. I have a hard time expressing my thoughts without either rambling on forever or overthinking until I get a headache, so I try to send him as many links as possible when I see clothes he’d wear as an “I care about you and think of you often, I’m just really awkward” gesture. he’s also quite introverted, so I send him pictures of clothing when I want to hear him go off on tangents cause I like listening to him and feel “hey, can you please talk more. I just love it when you yap and i’m talkin 75 percent of the time, i want you to tell me it all..” would come off as an unintentional dig 😭
My own: my uniqueness, or my charm
In others: hilarious, open minded
Compassion and empathy
Empathy, and the ability to stay empathetic no matter what life throws at you.
It is easy to become embittered, disillusioned and discouraged if you go through hardships. But to still think outside yourself and take other people’s feelings into account through your own pain takes courage and incredible strenght of character.
My humor and empathy!
Authenticity and the ability to be truly here in the moment with someone. I find that they often go together 🙂
Gentle and have high patience.
I don’t like to give up.
Sometimes honesty, sometimes compassion, hard working or intelligent in the relevant field.
An open-mind, compassion and empathy
I love and envy people who are tactful, they always seem to know the right thing to say without doing too much.
I’m kind and care deeply about the people in my life
Humility
Compassion.
Honesty. As long as you’re honest, you’re being authentic. So even if I don’t like what you’re saying, it’s best that way because then I can make a fair judgement to choose to be around you or not. I would rather a POS be honest about being one that trying to hide it. I would respect them more. Wouldn’t hang out with them or probably trust them but would respect them more than being fake when I know they are lying or manipulative. If they are honest about the flip side too, that’s great. Then I know we work well and it just saves so much time and potential problems being straightforward.
Down to earth, intelligent, funny or good sense of humor, trustworthy, giving, empathetic, mature/responsible.
Positive ambitious mindset.
I really admire people who have integrity and are also not afraid to be vulnerable.
Genuine kindness towards others
My favorite personality trait in a guy is when he’s sincere, and in a girl, it’s when she’s funny.
Humility.
Kindness.
Where there is kindness, there is goodness. And where there is goodness, there is magic.
Thoughtfulness.
And also empathy and consideration for others, but those often go together.
Genuinely being nice and kind
I am more logical than sentimental, even in life desicion matters. In all honesty, I cannot understand emotional minded people. My sister is one and I am constantly amazed by her choices. Many of them it’s blatantly, a trainwreck situation and yet she entagles herself with no second thought.
A second one, is that I stand by my choices.
The ability to give no f*cks. I believe I’m entering that stage and it comes on about your 40s. At this point I have a pretty good idea of who I am and what I want, and how to get there. This isn’t about being mean or nasty to others, but seeing life for what it is and choosing to forge a path of happiness and contentment, rather than politics and gameplaying.
Considerate/thoughtfulness; whatever the best word is for thinking of others before yourself.
Sympathy; the kind of understanding when they haven’t been through the same stuff, but still understand
Someone who is a good conversationalist, good listener, empathetic, thoughtful and kind.
Humor and kindness
My confidence
I’m quite excitable which is fun
Empathy
Honestly, my ability to find humour in mist situations. I’m very empathetic, which some people would think it’s a great personality trait, but I don’t really like it too much because a lot of stuff really affects me for a long time.
Tenacity. I will succeed or fail but I don’t really give up. Sometimes this has a physical cost to me, in the form of stress related health problems.
But I never really regretted pushing through even when everything was going wrong and i ended up failing. I feel that failure after putting in my best effort is better than giving up because I was intimidated or lazy.
