I feel your pain. Sometimes it seems the difficult cases come in clusters.
It’s possible your client group had festering problems that weren’t being addressed. Sometimes a change in leadership or financial pressure brings them all to a head at the same time.
Yeah. Have you spoken with your supervisor about your capacity? I’m thinking that they either have done a bunch of crazy ones and want you to cut your teeth on them, or there’s stuff going on you’re not privy to.
I’m also wondering if you’re somehow the ‘different’ one. Like your coworkers are male and you’re not, or something like that. I know whether consciously or unconsciously, women and minorities can get more loaded on their plate than others.
If you share a common supervisor though, I’d talk to them about capacity. Sometimes there really is only so much BS a person can wade through.
Could also be you’re doing a good job and your leadership trusts you to get these done better than they trust the others.
This could also be the way you distinguish yourself above your peers.
Lotta possibilities. Do you have any ideas?
Have you not advocated for yourself with this HRBP that you need help?
If you have and they ignore you… honestly, at this level, I’d just look for another role.
