I really don’t pay much attention to what’s supposed to be trendy now. I looked it up, and apparently skinny jeans and mom jeans are “out,” but I’m still partial to those.
Hoop skirts. I am waiting for this for more than 30 years. I need a reason to wear one and I always wanted one.
Leg warmers. I miss them.
Keds are cute and I don’t see them as much as I want to.
Capes
My fat lower belly and my thin waist needs peplum tops back right about now.
Full length tops. I’m not built for crop tops.
FLARE JEANS. they are so cool.
Any shirt that covers stomach and kidney area
Fitted shirts
Fitted shirts with cap sleeves
Men wearing proper suits
1770s colonial America men’s clothing – but for women this time around.
Padded shoulders. I missed the 80’s and still feel robbed.
Aqua net hairspray. I never got to know what it is like to have a hairdo that could survive a major hurricane.
Beige-y or suntan pantyhose only so people will quit pointing at me like I am a fashion pod person.
Short sleeve t shirts over long sleeved t shirts. I’m too old now, but I loved that look!
Parachute pants and poof up hair with aqua net for re-enforcement.Â
Gloves. Y’all are nasty. We all are nasty.
Cloaks
Capes and cloaks
Eyeliner on men.
Mammoth pelt loin cloths & mud. A few millennia ago it was all anyone wore (if they wore anything at all)
Gauchos… so comfy
Mid rise jeans with useful pockets. High rise pants make me look like Ed Grimley with a FUPA.
High rise jeans! Some of us don’t have flat stomachs
Full length t-shirts. Yesterday at Nordstrom rack the women’s graphic t-shirt rack had only full length shirts in size XS-S because I suppose folks in that size range are comfortable with crop tops. Everything left in M-XXL was ruthlessly cropped because no one in this range wants half a damn shirt. Whole shirts in the women’s department plz.
Bootcut jeans, not crazy bell bottoms, just wider at the bottom.
I think it looks better and they are easier to put on.
Fashion hats. Ladies hats from the 1920’s through the 60’s were fabulous!
Denim overalls for men and women. So comfortable.
Babydoll tops!
Flare bottom jeans
Stays and Empire waist dresses. I want to parade around like I’m straight from an Austen novel
Jelly shoes
I really miss the zigzag hair part!
Boot cut jeans. I look so much better in them.
Opera gloves/evening gloves
Chokers
White shirts that aren’t transparent
Capri pants with ballet flats. Cute and comfy. I still wear this combo sometimes but I’m aware it’s dated.
