Either Harry Potter or Jurassic. Magic is cool and so are dinosaurs
Middle-Earth
Honestly, I just want to have wild sex with all the males.
Earth in the Star Trek universe
The United Federation of Planets is Utopia.
The Mass Effect universe before everything goes to shit seemed pretty cool.
But really, The Culture would be the best, I think. Being on one of those big fuck-off mind ships and living the good life.
Gotta be the Star Wars cantina, I might actually fit in someplace?!
Harry Potter. Being a wizard is super easy and in order to be “extraordinary” you basically only need to work reasonably hard and memorize things
I would choose the world from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It’s cool. I would like fire magic for myself. It would suck if I ended up there without any magical abilities at all.🥲
The Walking Dead, together with my friend to see if he really can survive the zombie apocalypse longer than me like that fucker said
Dr who. I’d love to live in the Tardis!
If it wasn’t for the whole living forever thing i think the christian heaven could be a nice fictional place to live.
Boob World 2: The Embiggening.
Every time this question comes up, my answer is the same.
The Culture.
Close second is The Commonwealth
Krypton before exploding
I would definitely travel to Coruscant from Star Wars!
Star Trek, man.
Replicators, universal Healthcare, holodecks, and local klingon milfs that wanna meet me?
Sign me tf up.
Alice’s wonderland
There is a book series set 10,000 year into the future, The Golden Oecumene.
The vast majority of the population live in cyberspace. People are basically immortal. You can transfer your mind into any prepared body (meat or robotic). Disease as we know it is a thing of the long past.
You could if you choose have the computers simulate any world from fiction and spend time adventuring there or you could meticulously recreate the this world and invite people to play in the 21st century as a tourist theme park.
It’s is just a shame the author John C. Wright to out to be such a horrible person. His authorship of the series was OK but his imagination of future tech and building a world around that tech showed incredible insight.
That town from Kiki’s Delivery Service. I’d probably find something aesthetically similar in Mediterranean Europe, but god damn that town has such an irresistible lazy Sunday vibe that no real city could ever compare. Also witches.
I feel like Star Wars bc at any given time there’s so much to do and become, I’d love to be able to choose what i am (Jedi, sith, rebel etc)
Barsoom
I’d choose the wizarding world of Harry Potter. The idea of attending Hogwarts, learning spells, and exploring a realm where magic is real and integrated into everyday life is captivating. The rich lore, magical creatures, and sense of adventure in this world offer an escape into a place where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
Why has no one said Stargate? I don’t want to be on an SG team or be on the front lines of any fighting, but some sort of cultural liaison job would be cool. Maybe set up a Tauri earth goods shop. Peddle pop tarts, Bluey cartoon discs, refurbished PS3’s, and fresh tomatoes and potatoes to the locals.
Any comparably technologically advanced world with decent gate traffic will do.
Narnia or Star Wars
It would be interesting to visit Los Santos (GTA5) for a week, visit those iconic places and meet my custom characters in person.
Idiocracy. It would be cool to be the smartest person in the world.
Hairy porter
The Good Place. Eleanor and Chidi live hundreds of lifetimes together, never aging, and going anywhere and doing whatever they want. And they do it while being a part of a community.
I wanna go to the Riordanverse, but as a normal everyday mortal so I can see people doing weird shit and think “there’s a kid over there swinging a pen around. Not my problem lmao” and go about my day
