I met a hermit who knew how to fix anything, grow everything, and lived in a small wooden shack on a hillside overlooking the ocean. His spirit was rich happiness and wealthier than any soul I’ve ever met.
me 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
If you know about the Philly auto show the guy that runs it is what I believe to be rich rich he is currently selling his house which is up the road from mine or I should say one of his many houses anyway he owns an absolute shit ton of super cars. I consider myself to be a big car guy and am familiar with new super cars but this dude has shit I’ve never heard of and some things I can’t even identify even after hours of searching the web he owns a military insurance company or something like that but he is the richest I’ve ever met
Phil.
This kid who is a trust fund baby. I worked at a horse farm and the mother died, father isn’t in the picture. He gets a 200k a year allowance from the trust and in a few years he will get access to the entire estate.

He passed away a couple of years ago. But I knew a guy who was the founder and owner of a gym company, who had franchises all over the country. His house was huge.
I have an uncle who produces automobile chassis for Ford here in south east asia
I have to get out into the acquaintance zone to find someone with more money than me but those people have hundreds of millions.
I had a friend that I went to high school with, she was always nice / modest and I didn’t really think much of money until we were in our twenties and I started to put together that her car was always brand new. It was never like obscene or a supercar, but it was always like a solid Mercedes or BMW or some kind of luxury brand and it was always new. Once I started putting it together I did some digging and I realized her dad sold his business for a couple of billion dollars and she’s one of the wealthiest people in her home country.
Never would have known without investigating, she’s super down to earth and nice and not an ass about it at all

A couple of good Millionaire friends
I know a few:
Owners/founders of tech companies. Some more personally than others.
A childhood friend of my dad’s that I worked with. He lived very frugally and owned hundreds of pieces of property in and by Temecula California.
A few actors/actresses that were successful. Not to Brad Pitts level, but very successful.
Had a friend marry into a family worth billions.
A fellow author. Several, actually.
Nowhere near “friends” level, but my company worked with Mark Cuban and I’ve spoken with him a couple of times. Dude is genuinely nice and didn’t treat me any different for being a lowly worker bee tech done.
As for actual friends, I was close with a dude and his sister in high school that were the kids of a couple that had a net worth in the hundreds of millions range. They were cool, didn’t act like they were above anyone else, but it struck me how both of them were both kind of “unconcerned” with life. Didn’t have much in the way of ambition or care. As soon as they graduated from high school both got a “job” managing their parent’s tax writeoff charity, getting high salaries for having lunch together and “discussing business” once a week. The sister eventually moved on and got a legitimate job (as a high end wine buyer for a corporation, so not exactly your typical 9-5) but the brother kept coasting for as long as I knew him (I lost track of him several years later so no idea if he ever changed).
One of my coworkers is the granddaughter of a billionaire. I have like $12, but she uses my coffee creamer sometimes
Work In the wine industry so there’s some pretty rich folk I’ve met, richest would be bloke who made his wealth with (South American?) gold mines and the others are inheritance kids of another mining family here, who are “only” worth like a few tens of millions each
Though I vaguely remember 100m something to do with that whole ordeal idk
The Offutt family.
There are a few weirdly rich people who started agricultural companies around where I grew up. My dad is a pretty big farmer in the area so we know a lot of them. By know, if you mean could get ahold of relatively easily its the Offutt family who started RDO, I think some of them are worth around $500m.
However if by know you mean have a pretty good relationship with its a father-in-law who is worth around $30-40 million.
I have vague connections to L and M fleet supply, simplot and some silicon valley venture capitalists as well.
The guy I went to college with who offhand mentioned his family had a box at MSG. Having a box isn’t necessarily a rich thing, mentioning having a box with the same attitude as mentioning you’re grabbing pizza is imo.
multimillionare family member
I went to high school a decade ago with a current NBA player so probably him
My son’s friend. Recently moved into a mansion but before that I would do school car pool and pick the friend up in the morning. They had several very expensive cars. Some brands I never heard of. They had a nanny, cleaning lady and personal chef at their house just about every day.
Personal friend who does home renovations for the obscenely wealthy. He lives in a tiny cabin in the middle of no where and never talks about money but he bought 3 planes last year.
I know a really famous musician. His sister and I are lifelong friends. M sure he’s doing well. 🌞
The guy my mom wanted me to marry when the guy and I were young (20/21). His parents wanted it, too. Sigh.
My buddy who works for nvidia
Probably one of my friends
My ex. He’s a multi multi millionaire and has a great life. Also one of the kindest people I know, always ready to help out someone less fortunate despite knowing he’ll never see the money back.
My old boss. He only made like 150-200k/year, but he’s been investing since he was a teen. Made some great stock picks. I know he made millions off Apple alone.
Won’t use names but one of my brothers’ closest friends from high school made it into the NFL. Not a mainstream name, but big enough to where as long as he doesn’t screw up he will be employed until the day he chooses to retire.
My Aunt and Unlce they sold there flee market property to McDonalds and Walgreens. They made a sick deal and bought land in Texas. Very smart
I grew up as the token poor scholarship kid at a mega-rich school. My classmates were the kids of tech CEOs, celebrities, or from old money. I couldn’t tell you definitively which of them was the richest but many of them lived in multimillion dollar mansions. Definitely a level of wealth where money ceases to have meaning.
Depends if it’s about having a loving family with many trusting reliable friends, or just flat out cash.
Probably my company’s CEO. He owns three companies and a lot of buildings. Easily worth 9 figures. He runs a tight ship, but it’s not a bad working experience. I’m well compensated.
Elon Musk, he is uncle of my uncle of my neighbor.
Neighbor hit the lottery for 50 million.
I was lucky to have a small talk with Michelle Monaghan (even a few times). There was time when I often wrote her on Instagram, and when she was live, she sometimes noticed me and answered my messages. And also she liked my comments (not very often, but this happened, too). It was really her, not her imposters – I know how to differ the real person from their imposter cuz I’ve already had such experience many times. That’s why I can say that she already knows me.
And also I managed to talk to her husband. They’re both wonderful people. In my opinion, the earth won’t collapse unless such people as them are alive. And I was really extatic to have a talk with them, even though it was just a small chat.
My 96 year old dad.
Rich with friends.
Always gave freely of his time, whether it was us 5 kids, or our mom, or anyone else who needed a helping hand.
He is the richest man I know.
