Are Public Washrooms a Nightmare for You?
As a career salesman constantly on the go, I have encountered my fair share of public washrooms. From gas stations to fast-food chains, the struggle to find a clean and peaceful restroom is all too real. But fear not, there is a solution that will change your restroom game forever – hotels.
Why Hotels are the Superior Option
- Hotel restrooms are typically well-maintained and clean, providing a hygienic environment for your restroom needs.
- Conference center washrooms in hotels are often empty, quiet, and pristine, offering a peaceful break from the chaos of public facilities.
- It’s easy to access hotel washrooms without any hassle or judgment. Just walk in and head to the clearly labeled conference center washrooms.
- Hotel washrooms often feature luxurious amenities such as floor-to-ceiling stalls, adding an extra touch of comfort to your restroom experience.
- Whether it’s late at night or early in the morning, hotel washrooms are a reliable and safe option for your restroom emergencies.
The Stress-Free Solution
Imagine the relief of not having to purchase anything or ask for a key just to use the restroom. With hotel washrooms, you can simply walk in and enjoy a calm and clean environment without any added stress.
For parents with kids, hotel washrooms are a lifesaver. You can swiftly navigate to the restroom without worrying about judgment or inconvenient restrictions.
Make the Switch Today!
Next time you’re in need of a restroom break, skip the dingy public facilities and head to a hotel instead. With countless hotel options available, you’ll always find a safe and comfortable restroom experience.
Don’t let restroom woes ruin your day – choose hotels for a hassle-free and hygienic solution to your washroom needs.
This is *mostly* true, except for hotels in downtown areas. I’ve worked in a bunch of hotels and some downtown ones 1. Lock up their washrooms when there’s no event happening and/or 2. Are known to be a safe-ish place to chill and perhaps use some drugs.
In general just be aware of your surroundings and be safe
Many of the hotels in my city now require a room key to access even the lobby restrooms.
Can vouch, my drinking buddies and I used to drink at a bar, and walk across the street to the Hyatt Regency to take poops.
Casinos are usually good too. Especially during the day
I used to cover 5 states in a sales role. Easiest and cleanest for me were truck stops (Love’s, Pilot, etc). They have doors without gaps, are regularly cleaned, and plenty of stalls. I consider myself an expert in this arena since I have Crohn’s disease. For reps that cover smaller territories libraries are really good
Great tip, especially for big cities like NYC that severely lack public restrooms.
Hotels here now have signs saying no public washrooms and require the room key (card) to enter.Â
I’m in sales and live in the burbs and always cruise in to the local Holiday Inn Express and Coutyard for bathroom and a cup of coffee if I get caught with the need out on appt.
Why would you share this information with the masses
I would even pay to use the hotel bathroom.
Wine sales here. Always hit the hotel. Better than a petrol station or a pub.
Department stores if you’re in mid-town Manhattan
This. Almost every hotel has a bathroom in the lobby and it’s usually much cleaner and more private than a gas station or restaurant.
Solid advice. I don’t travel as much anymore, but in the past I was on the road 2-3 days a week, going to a lot of small towns at sometimes odd hours. These small towns don’t have a lot of options, especially early in the morning or late at night, but nearly every one had a hotel even if just on the outskirts of town. A little Hyatt Place or Quality Inn lobby bathroom is heaven when you need it.
I go to doctor’s clinics around town. Not every single one has one, but 4/5 of the ones I’ve been to usually has one where I live. But I definitely will keep this in mind too 🙂 thanks!
Whenever I need directions I find a hotel and ask!! They are always so knowledgeable.
Does it matter if you’re a member of the hotel chain and are you eating a meal there or visiting the bar?
