Hey everyone, have you ever felt like you’re stuck in a never-ending cycle of negativity at work? 🔄 Well, imagine being told “The beatings will continue until morale improves” by your management team. Yikes, right?
In a recent post, a senior manager shared their frustration with a new CEO implementing a controversial compensation process that left over half the company without raises. The manager is now facing pressure to report on their team’s feelings about the situation, adding even more stress to the mix.
But hey, let’s keep our heads up! Here are some possible solutions to consider:
– Start a constructive dialogue with HR and upper management about the impact of the compensation process on employee morale.
– Offer support and resources to team members who may be feeling undervalued or demotivated.
– Encourage open communication and transparency within the organization to address concerns and improve overall satisfaction.
Remember, your well-being and happiness at work are important. Let’s work together to create a positive and supportive environment for everyone. 💪✨ #PositiveWorkCulture #EmployeeEngagement #SupportiveLeadership
save yourself.
Imagine how well this company would do if they spent money on expansion and business development as opposed to this kind of nonsense…
Happened at my old workplace around 2017-2018. The salary survey was hyped for months and months. Performance reviews were delayed, and were finally given without merit increases or even inflation correction. I noped out of that place in 2018 after over a decade.
Assuming OP is in US, are these actual raises or cost-of-living increases? If the latter, the employees are earning less, not the same. Inflation, prices, and employee market value will continue to increase. Please help as many as possible to also jump off this sinking ship.
“I asked my team, and everyone said ‘it’s fine’, but they generally seem upset. I think they realize there isn’t much point in complaining as it doesn’t seem like anyone at the executive level is listening.”
