Trust me, I’ve learned this lesson the hard way. One time, I was prepping food and accidentally nicked myself with a knife. It was a small cut, but boy did it hurt! I had to scramble around the house looking for a band-aid, and let me tell you, it wasn’t pretty.
So, do yourself a favor and be prepared. Keeping a box of band-aids in the kitchen will save you time and pain in the long run. Plus, you never know when someone else might need one too.

Ackshyually, you should keep them near whatever sink you’re going to use to wash the wound with.
To be fair, your house and car should have a whole, properly stocked, first aid kit. You probably don’t need to keep it in the kitchen, because you—presumably—have a small enough house that it’s not going to be a long walk from the kitchen to the bathroom.
I do keep a box of Paw Patrol bandages in my diaper bag, for real and imagined booboos.
