Hey everyone! ๐ Have you ever had to deal with intrusive family members who just can’t resist opening your mail? ๐ฌ It can be such a headache, right?
I came across a dilemma recently and would love to hear your thoughts on this: If I change the address on my HSBC account to my father’s address, will any letters still be sent to my old address? ๐ I’m trying to avoid the constant scrutiny from my mother, who seems to think my personal business is her business.
Here are some things to consider:
– Changing your address with HSBC may affect your credit report
– It’s important to make sure all your important documents are redirected to your new address
– You may want to consider setting up a PO Box for added privacy
What do you think is the best solution for this situation? Let’s help each other out! ๐ฌ #PrivacyMatters #FamilyDrama
I would go into a branch and discuss this – or phone them up, I suppose.
I’m pretty sure that all banks have controls that take into account abusive household members.
Why would you receive a letter to an address youโre removing from their system? No. You can phone up and add a correspondence address and have all your post go there, keeping your home address in record too if needed.
I donโt think it will send a letter to your old address, no. For this, or other reasons though, have you considered having RM forward your mail to your new address? Your mother and her address would then be removed from the equation.
