No, but it’s no fault of your own. You’re working with what you’ve got (which at this point, is not much), but (mostly) none of the roles we are working in these days would typically need your level of experience or expertise. Again, it’s no fault of your own. It’s as tough as it gets starting off. But since you are asking these types of questions means you’re more diligent than others. You’ll be fine once you get over the initial hump 🙂
Maybe give you a call for an entry level web content specialist role I have recruited on before in the past. Updating pages in cms, light html, updating metadata. Maybe a $25-30hr + job, in a mid cost of living state.
Wouldn’t call for any front end dev roles. Feedback is same as others have mentioned.
You have potential, just gotta get lucky and get noticed for the right role and work your way up.
I wouldn’t, mainly because I rarely have jobs that are so entry level. I haven’t had a client that sought anything less than a recent CS grad with at least one relevant internship.
No, I would not.. However don’t give up! Keep networking.
Depends on the role(s) you’re applying to. A one size fits all resume approach is counterproductive and ineffective.
Take the WordPress off in parenthesis because it looks like you are a website builder not a true engineer. Your average staffing agency would give you a call, but not your average corporate tech recruiter.
I would not, sorry
No as software engineers are in demand. Global companies are seeking infrastructure engineers with solid integration and cloud skills
I just hired a guy from the tech industry today to be a carpenter. Took the job at $18 an hour because of the massive tech industry lay offs.
Probably not, it shows limited experience and limited education. Unexplained gap sticks out.
no you haven’t worked in 5 years and all you’ve done is some boot camps and the most vanilla type of projects… unless your side projects are actually generating thousands of users and at least $X,XXX in revenue, what have you been doing????
I wouldn’t. This is a thin resume sprinkled with all the technology you could think of that you’re most likely not fluent in.
You need real life experience. In my opinion your options are finding work through networking and/or securing an internship.
Completely depends on what the job is.
But if I’m being honest, having one job five years ago with no degree, I can’t think of any job that I would call on.
Move your relative work experience to the top.
Sorry, but no. Typically looking for an undergrad degree with intern. experience.
Also, change relative to relevant work experience.
If I am being completely honest, no, I probably wouldn’t. For any early career software development roles, we get absolutely hammered with applications from bootcamp grads. There has to be something really exceptional that makes a candidate stand out for me to call them. Otherwise I am more likely to call candidates with decent internship experience from companies similar in size to us.
