🌿 Let’s talk about something important – forgiveness and self-love. Remember, we’re all just kids getting older and trying our best. Here’s some food for thought:
– It’s okay to make mistakes, we’re only human after all.
– Learning to forgive ourselves is a process, be patient with yourself.
– Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for all other relationships in your life.

People never grow up don’t be fooled. Their body and mental health just starts to deteriorate.
Some, yes, but not everyone is trying their best. I get that forgiving/loving yourself shapes the way you forgive/love and treat others, but repeatedly forgiving yourself for the same harmful behavior isn’t productive or healthy for anyone involved.
Absolutely true.
We are all 8 year olds emotionally, we never grow beyond that emotional level. Then we simply get more logistical and memory connections from there, plus a few more tools for controlling that emotion that we can choose to learn and use.
Most important thing to do is let the emotions out, otherwise they control you. That’s healing in a nutshell. Healing is easy, though of course can be complex the more you have piled on…just take it a bite at a time and forgive yourself for holding that emotion for far too long. Treat yourself, speak as kindly to yourself as you would a happy 8 year old! Even as you heal. Even during a meltdown.
We all have meltdowns, some based in fear and some based in healing. Reach out for help and clarity with the fear-based meltdowns.
